  1. I graduate HS on June 25th or something like that, though classes end a lot earlier. Glad to finally be out of this hellhole! After that, I'll be going to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I think someone here goes there. =o
  2. Yeah, Lugia is much cooler...literally too. I mean Ho-Oh is a phoenix thing and that must imply a higher body temperature. Ha ha I'm so clever. It'd be funny if the Gold remake was called Golden Sun, eh? And the remakes announcement got me to start messing around in Pearl again. I now have three boxes full of Doduo.
  3. I wouldn't mind a Typhlosion following me around. It'd be like, don't mess with my badass flaming ferret, *****. Or something, but I like the feature.
  4. Well, I haven't found any better videos yet, but here's the footage that was shown with today's announcement thingy. Pics on Serebii: http://www.serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/pics.shtml So your starter follows you like in Pokémon Yellow? Pretty interesting. And it sounds like New Bark Town's theme is a lot slower than it originally was...ah my favorite first town theme. Anyway, it looks like what I'd expect from a 4th gen version of GS, so not much to say. Still excited, obviously...I want some more info...damn. EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw5W5nEiIbk&fmt=18 Better video, though there's not much more shown here.
  5. Yeah, I can't remember anyone who didn't pick Cyndaquil...Typhlosion is such a badass. I spent years playing Silver and I checked my file again a couple of years ago...it was gone. Died in my lap that morning. I only had to catch Kingdra, too (got a legit Celebi from the old NY Pokémon Center) - since then I've NEVER caught a Kingdra, ever. But maybe this time! =D
  6. Okay, the names are kinda strange, now that I think about it. But FUCK! It took them long enough! A picture of the Japanese logos Official Japanese site confirming this Bulbapedia article about the games http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw5W5nEiIbk&fmt=18 A video of the (scant) gameplay footage shown on 5/10. According to the official site, it's expected to be released in Japan in fall 2009.
  7. I reserved a post but I'm going to take up another one to say HAPPY BIRTHDAAAY YEAAAH Rock on dude. Have a good one!
  8. Hahaha, Rael0505. You know, you share the Cinco de Mayo birthday with my art teacher? It's not your birthday yet, so, post reserved or something.
  9. On a MOTORCYCLE. Something tells me that's not the end of the badassery though...but plowing through a crowd of zombies on that thing would feel immensely satisfying. Though I hope the item health system isn't like the first, or else you'd be suddenly stranded in a crowd of zombies. I don't know exactly what the details are about the 7,000 zombies, but uh, that's a lot.
  10. Apparently the game can handle 7000 zombies onscreen at once. I cannot confirm the truthfulness of that statement, but some sick stuff goes on in this here trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fmIS7mDLaM&fmt=18 Coming out for 360, PS3, and PC, with a later downgraded port for Wii. Just kidding about the last one.
  11. Yeah wesker. Mewtwo anybody? And I always imagined that the people would eat like Tauros or Miltank steak... (Goddamn, when was this chat log? I sound like a bitch.)
  12. Happy Birthday Lark! here's to another many years of sexiness!
  13. I'm 17. My first Sonic game was Sonic R for the PC >_>...but I did watch some of the older Sonic cartoons when I was younger. Since Sonic R had basically no story, I looked up the characters and such on the internets and thus was introduced to the blue blur. Then I found Sonic and Knuckles Collection for the PC, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles quickly became my favorite game of all time. And when I got my Dreamcast, I played the hell out of Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, though it wasn't until their Gamecube rereleases that I got all emblems for both games. Good times.
  14. How do you cut it out from the screen? What kind of scissors do you use? Very useful tutorial. Blue Frenzy described how to do this in his tutorial too, actually, but this is a little more in-depth. The grass is delicious. And thanks for reminding me about Dami's tile adapt tool...I nearly forgot that thing existed!
  15. I've played it to the end...It's really really good stuff. Do yourself a favor and download it.
  16. Happy Birthday, Ayling-dingaling-adingdong! I love your username! <3
  17. This is a really good, solid tab, so you guys should definitely check it out. I didn't actually do much, but if you say so, Rael! I'm just going to point out a tiny mistake I noticed and wasn't worth reuploading everything for: in measure 66, the notes go as such: -------------------|-------------------------| -------------------|-------------------------| -------------------|-------------------------| -------------------|----------------0--3--5--| --6----------------|--0--3--0--5-------------| --4----------------|-------------------------| This is the corrected version: -------------------|-------------------------| -------------------|-------------------------| -------------------|-------------------------| -------------------|----------------------5--| --6----------------|--0--3--0--5----6--7-----| --4----------------|-------------------------| Also note that in the ninth measure, the final chord should be held longer than it is in the tab. Rael noticed that the time signature changed, but reflecting that in the tab would take a while and isn't worth it. :> we still love you guys though Yeah, I feel like a nitpicker, but still, great tab. Sea Gate is nearing its final stages too, so we'll get that out sometime.
  18. Watched it in school...fell asleep when that poet lady started reading. Yay Obama.
  19. http://wii.ign.com/dor/objects/14268379/sonic--the-black-knight-/videos/sonicknight_trailer_011609.html Hey look, another trailer (the "American" one - note English logo and lack of vocals). This one has a slightly different flavor and a bittersweet surprise.
  20. I have to agree. I was pretty hooked on the Sonic Heroes demo and loved Seaside Hill. When I had the game for a while and played the last stages a couple of times...I thought to myself "hmm I don't think this game is actually that great anymore." I couldn't bring myself to A-Rank everything because it just wasn't fun, not to mention one time when I was about to finish a Mystic Mansion run and glitched into the water at the end or something and died in front of the goal ring. ;-; Haven't been able to play Unleashed yet due to my 360 being out of commission, but I'll probably give the demo a whirl later on...random input: I heard Eggmanland takes forever to complete.
  21. I prefer the 360 as well, since not a lot of games for the more hardcore gamers are on the Wii. I am sad because my 360 got the RROD not too long ago, though. :[ Right before winter break, dammit. But yeah, just look at released/upcoming games and see what you like best.
  22. Wow, I never really followed this thread before, but it's full of pretty sweet stuff. Keep it up, guys! I did a little something a while ago, slightly inaccurate self-portrait from a picture of old: (just to reduce loading strain)
  23. Happy birthday, dude! =D Awesome that it fell on Thanksgiving this year. Work off that fat today by programming for ET:CF! You rock!
  24. http://www.reuters.com/article/healthNews/idUSTRE4AC07O20081113 Yay for medical advances! ...hmm, imagine this becomes an I Am Legend fiasco? lololol
  25. NOW IT'S DEFINITELY BACK TO THE ROOTS BECAUSE HE SAID SO I come bearing information. For you 360 owners: http://www.succesfull.fr/index.php?option=com_succesfull&Itemid=22&l=en&JeuID=437 is a list of the achievements. There's a stage called Eggmanland! And you can eat hot dogs and other food! I'm more interested in that than the rest of the game. And some great references in the achievement titles. (why this game?) http://www.gametrailers.com/player/42535.html shows the first stage we saw in Africa. It's funny because it's supposed to be called Mazuri, but GT spelled it "Missouri". Oh and the guy talking in the video says the homing attack originated in "Sonic World Adventure" (which is this game in Japan). I love the direction this series is taking!
