  1. Remember how people originally had to squint to see the difference between VHS and DVD?
  2. I love how all the PS3 fanboys complain about how the joke is old while it is obviously still funny enough for this flash to become a hit. Below is a double post that has been automagically merged into the original. Erm... terribly sorry Steve, I forgot to offer you my praise and congratulations. Anyway, It's awesome and congratulations on your newfound NG fame.
  3. Or if you really wanted to be fancy, you'd make your own sprites with their own poses.
  4. And if Sony actually expected UMD to be successful... well, this just goes to show you a lot about BluRay.
  5. I hate the Advance art style with a passion. I say stick with what you like.
  6. What a weekend plan. Anyway, the yo-yo glitch is still much cooler and more practical.
  7. It doesn't look like a particularly difficult assisted run... Anyway, he didn't touch the spikes in a way that would have hurt him SG... you could really do that crap and just sorta... bounce off for some reason.
  8. Yoshi sucks against a Mario with cape or anyone who can knock him back after his jump is over. It really hurts him a lot in hard core tournament play. And Pichu would still suck even if he didn't hurt himself... he relies on items. If you got tournaments to allow items, he'd be good. But tournament players are really stupid like that. For that same reason though, Ness's situationally bad third jump doesn't matter. The only thing you have to worry about are players who love to jump into your PK thunder while you are trying to recover. What Ness has... is style. You can set up a yo yo glitch once you figure it out and grab your opponent from the entire length of Final Destination away. Or the third jump attack as well. Or you can get extra stylish with it and use the yo yo to launch the opponent then use a dair jacket install off of the glitch so that if the opponent touches you at all its automatically in a very comboable situation. Of you could install a pk thunder jacket to make a huge fraction of melee attacks against Ness result in 3rd jump damage against the attacker. There are other options with it as well... but generally, the yo yo glitch is as sweet as all hell.
  9. 22 right now... I'll play some more later.
  10. Fox, Shiek, Marth seriously own all of those characters. I think Ness is probably the most underrated character in all of SSBM.
  11. Ogtrax clearly lives in a country where they aren't too fond of illegals... unlike America these days... which is the only place I seem to find tools who want to welcome them with open arms.
  12. I should think that the word momentum has a place in any game with a physics engine.
  13. Agreed. Baby Bowser sucks ass. And I hardly think its a given.
  14. According to what I've seen translated of Sakurai's comments to various people... -only a few more third party characters. I've seen 1-3 as a speculated number. Obviously, that places Sonic as almost guaranteed based on a magazine article where Naka said that Sonic in SSBM was close but requested too late in the development phase just as Snake was... apparently. -Some characters will be removed. -SSBM will feature an unparalleled amount of mascots. Whether or not this means that they intend to have an unparalleded amount of characters (which would require beating of MVC2's 55ish by a sizable margin) or just more than in any other company mascot game... which they would just have to beat their own record to do... I don't know. "We need Ganondorf with his sword" Ganondorf didn't have a sword when SSBM was released. Ever. "Gamecube(I think)" I'm pretty sure thats wrong. I've heard that Sakurai is going to make it compatible with gamecube controllers and not take any advantage of the Wii's motion sensing capabilities though.
  15. You could do it for a couple hours every weekend and put it on a college application as community service.
  16. I'm extremely anti-illegal-immigration, so I'm thinking... Allright!
  17. If you want to play games, the first XBox 360 is more than enough.
  18. What about that is quite easy to see exactly? The lack of HD support or the lack of possibility in reaching the console's alleged potential because it is missing crucial ports in the back?
  19. Well then I suppose I just have to say that playing guitar with only 2 fingers will only take you so far. You'll have to use the whole hand if you want to play Acoustic Alchemy songs... and that isn't an opinion. While playing with the whole hand may mean scrapping a lot of what is familiar to you for something that is difficult, it pays off once you've gained the mastery over your hand for that to become what is familiar and you can play the harder songs... and play what you used to know faster and better. Maybe I'm just making my own little music analogy to programming though. And sure, OOP may just be the two most retarded fingers that you have... both on your non-dominant hand even. But I'm still rather fond of what they can do when used by someone who has mastery over them.
  20. Animations for 350+ sprites that are detailed? Do you realize how much work that would entail? Not to mention the vast amounts of potential moves... it was crazy enough when they had various growling animations and such in Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2.
  21. Pikachu with furshaders could mean a whole new direction with the graphical style of the pokemon games... and I for one am tired of the ultra-smooth plasticy look.
