  1. Nice idea! I'll implement it once I finish the next badnik (which shouldn't take too much time). Also, I lowered the badnik's height. I'm not sure how I didn't notice that earlier, but anyway, it's fixed now.
  2. I don't use Facebook too much, but I'm going to like it anyway Keep up the good work, Strife!
  3. @Delta: I think the alliteration names are better, but it's just my opinion. @Sparks: Wow, that's looking beautiful. And Amy playable isn't something we see every day in a fangame. As for me... Instead of hurting the player, now the bubble gums will make the player slow and with some bubble gum in his shoes (duh) for 7 seconds. And this thing is a mix of two gimmicks, the conveyor belt with a pie machine in the ceiling. Every now and then, the machine will create a pie, which will fall to the conveyor belt and start being carried. The player needs to jump through them, but if he/she falls on the top of the pie, he/she'll be stuck on it, and will need to repeatedly tap the jump button to escape. If he isn't fast enough, he'll be carried to that furnace, which will obviously hurt him.
  4. I simply loved the Peel Out sprites! All others are fantastic as well!
  5. Yeah, it looks waaay better when animated:tgrin:!
  6. I should say they are looking very nice, but for some reason some of them they don't give that "neon" feel to me. Maybe it's because they aren't in action.
  7. @Betaman: How about this one? I'm still not very good with this >_< @Sparks: A friend of mine had this exactly same idea! For now, it simply hurts the player, but I'll make it like that once I fix one glitch it has right now.
  8. @Delta Hedgehog: Yeah, that FPS problem is really strange... good luck with solving that, and as always everything is looking awesome. I have been working on that candy stage, although not too much. I improved the shading on the candy cane tiles, added some new ones, made some alterations to the chocolate (thanks for the suggestions, Delta), created a badnik, made a title screen (which I'll not show now for a reason of mine)... and that's it. I still need to add the sky to the background, add some new tiles, create more badniks and some gimmicks, probably improve something else... and then I can focus on the level design, I guess. Yeah, still a lot to do.
  9. Wow, another birthday. Looks like June really has a lot of those. Anyway, Happy birthday, Strife!
  10. Oh, sorry, I'll correct that. Although I know english well enough, I still make those mistakes sometimes.
  11. No, it's not my stage. What reminds me of Megaman X are those enemies that spicy gyro games showed XD.
  12. I'm not sure why, but this reminds me of Megaman X. Anyway, it's looking pretty nice. Well, I'm still working in the candy world stage. It's turning out like this: Well, I'm not very good with pixel art, but I'm at least trying to make something nice. I'm sure it'll get better with time.
  13. I should say, I have no words to say how nice your game is looking. It's simply wonderful! And the sketches are very nice too, although I found Carol's left hand (her left, no the one on the left of the image) to be a little strange. It may be only me, though. Anyway, everything is very well done. If you continue like this, it will be spectacular!
  14. Happy Birthday Overbound! Have some cake:
  15. I think I'm going to make two separate stages then: this one, like Tanetane Island, and another one candy-like. Thanks for the feedback.
  16. I'll try that and see how it looks So, you played MOTHER 3? I actually tried to make it look like a candy-based level (chocolate mountains, strawberry river, etc), but it ended up more surreal than candy-looking. Now that you said, it really looks like Tanetane Islands...
  17. This only happens in MMF2, and only when I'm trying to export an image from an object. Not when I'm saving an application project, importing an image or anything. Actually, I'm using a notebook, with the default keyboard, but I do have an extra keyboard here from my other computer. I'll try and see if that works.
  18. The thing is, I was trying to export an image from an object of mine (I lost the original one). When I tried to insert a name for saving, it didn't recognize most of the keyboard's keys. I tried the on-screen keyboard as well, and the same thing happens, so I don't think it's actually a keyboard problem. And another thing: all keys work properly if I hold shift while I'm typing, no matter if they are capital or not. What I'm saying is, if I try to type "a" the normal way, with Caps Lock off, it doesn't recognize that I typed it. But if I turn Caps Lock on and then type "a" by using Shift+A, it recognizes. This only happens for exporting the image, as well, not for opening one by typing its name, what is very, very strange. Of course, I can live typing with shift, but it's not very comfortable. Can anyone help me with this strange problem? Did anyone ever had it or it's just me?
  19. Water Works: It's somewhat better than before, but I still need to improve it a lot. I'm also going to try make the tiles more original next time.
  20. Sure, that stage is just my first attempt at creating one and it's pretty incomplete, I still plan on adding various things to it anyway (like some details and gimmicks), so it will get better with time. And that part with a lot of spikes, I wanted to give a challenge to the player, but they really are overused, so I'll remove some. I'll also be studying those Sonic maps, they should be really useful at understanding how stage creation works.
