  1. I think he meant the SAGE demo :V (We've got Sugar Splash music)
  2. Don't mean to imply anything but people simply hate wasting their time by doing stuff for projects that never finish; LakeFeperd already had one complete playable game out, and it just went from there. I actually asked most of the guys if they wanted to contribute; originally it was me and KgZ, then Lake and I remembered Ristar had offered to do music a lo-oo-ong time ago. We grabbed Funk Fiction through a facebook contact of all things and he was interested (Previously he had been doing music for Sonic Gemini circa. 2009 before that project died off) For ATS we Mr Lange had some 16-bit stuff done and published months ago (keeping in mind that the direction of both this and the previous OST was something a little more eclectic, sorry chiptune fans) We also reached out to both DJ Max-E and Tee Lopes to ask if they were interested. Tee never responded; from all accounts he looks extremely busy with a couple of commercial projects. I also asked a friend (Xiao'an) who's a sick orchestral/film writer if he wanted to contribute. Quite a few other people volunteered but at that point we were pretty much in organizational hell and I didn't want to add any more to the roster without knowing for absolute sure if 1) they could fit the overall style/sound Lake and I were going for and 2) if they were reliable. My point bringing that up though, is that there are quite a shit ton of people out there who are willing to do music for fan games- you need to keep your ear to the ground and essentially show you aren't dicking around doing 823748234 projects which never get finished.
  3. Geckoreverse: I'm ethnically chinese, nationally Malaysian and currently in the US. That aside I just don't talk to people much. Some previously un-revealed (not just music) stuff ahoy!
  4. Heh, I was thinking Ken Balough and his hilariously ignorant insistence that texture res meant there was no benefit for S4E2 PC to run higher than 720p, but yeah Molyneux is on a level of his own.
  5. Honestly this is all you need to understand.
  6. The hand-drawn art-style implies a lot of organic curves; the level you have, half temporary art or not (dear god please tell me it's temporary, right now it's not something I want to be caught playing) is very angular, which again plays into level flow. Something with gradual slopes will appear to flow a lot more smoothly even if the basic routes are the same. Stuff like half pipes not ending exactly vertical, slowly easing into upward/downward incline, everything to reduce the sense of perpendicularity. Just something else to keep in mind.
  7. Hahahahah after that you need to write a short novel with the title "Sonic: Prelude to Before the Sequel Aftermath"
  8. I'm new to the country so I'm a little unsure of what happens now. Do all the people who lost and the people who voted for them get deported?
  9. Running could be tilted forward a little, I guess. His nose definitely be the rightmost in alignment for a running stance.
  10. http://soundcloud.com/kgzmusic/sonic-the-hedgehog-ats-horizon <-- updated, more or less the final now
