  1. Holy Shit. Probably one of your best tracks so far. Also, When I start working on Sonic Light and Darkness again, I might PM ya requesting tracks for it.
  2. Look pretty good for your first attempt so far. At least the tiles are consistent unlike my first attempt.
  3. So far I've tried out the Sonic's. I didn't play them for too long but I did enjoy play realm of Chaos again. Didn't like Emerald hunt as much but it was still fun. Only criticism would be the 2D areas that were buggy. Walking backwards... Aww well Sonic 3000 was the one I played the most. It was decent as well and yes, the enemies were little bitches. The level layouts were alright imo and I enjoyed the music chosen for the game. Only criticism is that Sonic 3000's physics can be dodgy and yes, the enemy placement. Later on, I'll take a look at Kaytanna because it looks interesting and theres the new version of it you're still making.

  5. I remember playing a version that stopped after the space level. No idea where I had to go. It was impressive and it was fun if you put aside the unfair deaths.
  6. I agree with the others. This looks promising. Still, Sonic turning white when he jumps does look a bit weird imo but thats a minor issue. How much have you done so far?
  7. Is this with Gamemaker Deactivating on or Damizean's GSI dll? Deactivating objects speeds my game up alot.

  9. @Violet : The way you put it, seems straight forward. I have plans to redo the first zone anyway. Also, I realised my mistake for choosing Advance style graphics for Sonic. Besides the size of Sonic, I haven't seen that many custom SA sprites.

  12. Doctor Who is a pretty good show. Doctor Who games on the other hand... return to earth and evacuation earth were reviewed by Good Game last year or 2 years ago and thanks to what I was shown, I see Doctor Who games as shit. This does look like a huge improvement over the last 2 but I've got this feeling that this game will suffer from repetitiveness and some bad development choices.

  14. Well duh, it's because it's good. The engine's modifications are really well done and the level design was pretty good(Emerald Coast ^o^) despite the huge amount of pits. One thing I wish you can add is Fullscreen support. just my suggestion Edit: I noticed a small easter egg as well.
  15. From the looks of things, the sounds I'm after have been ripped by others themselves for their work. What tools will I need to rip the sounds from Sonic 2006? Just in case of a last resort.

  17. Don't use Megaupload but still, I've only seen them as your average file hosting site. Guess anything can happen now if you have some illegal content. Thought Demonoid or Pirates Bay would go first
  18. Sonic 4 for PC is a must for me. Just wait for modders to get a hold of it and the physics will be improved
  19. Small request. I'm after player SFX from Sonic 2006. The pack that Asuma uploaded doesn't include them. Specific SFX I'm after include the bounce sfx and Attack sfx.
  20. Sonic Revival Engine 1.5 has a parallax example using angel island backgrounds. Take a look at that for parallax. For animated art, objects are probably the best to go. Use Gamemaker's Deactivation or GSI to keep the performance smooth.
  21. This is the boost sprite I'm using in my game. All it is, is a recoloured boost effect from Super Sonic from Advance.
  22. Seriously though, True, piracy is a problem but seriously, this bill is a huge danger to the internet. Punishing the user will damage the industry more than what piracy did. @TailsSena, 1. Thats the spirit. 2. I really do hope this bill doesn't make it. TSR provided me with sprites back when I made Sonic fangame that didn't even work.
  23. From what I can see from Shadows gameplay, I'm guessing he's more combat orientated? Either way, looks pretty good
  24. Love the soundtrack. Especially from Act 3. Awesome work for the first demo and I agree with what Duckboy said. Disappearing platforms are pretty cool. (Reminds me of a part DMC1 with disappearing platforms and lightning). Might take some inspirations from your level backgrounds. hehe
