  1. I am glad you like the title screen. It was actually made by squallff8, I just edited it a bit.
  2. Hi, I haven't posted anything in a while, but I have done a lot of work on my game and It's actually getting close to finished. I decided to make one more video showing some of the latest work in the game. (Some of the stuff in the video is not finished yet.) The link is below, enjoy.
  3. Good job on the background. I really like the castle, but I think it's too bright. The clouds and mountains in front of it are more faded and have a more distance feel. Maybe you could desaturated the castle to make if appear furthest away. Overall I really like it.
  4. I just finished playing the demo and was really impressed. I love the custom sprites for Sonic. I hope that you will also make new sprites for Tails and Knuckles because that would really make the game feel original. I also like the Sonic Triple Trouble feel the seems to have. This game is turning out to be one of my favourites so keep up the good work.
  5. Just some screen shots of my current work on Sonic Axiom: I'm having trouble coming up with a name for the desert level (sonic cd style), so feel free to make suggestions.
  6. I thought I should mention, that while I was playing through your demo again, I came across a killer checkpoint near the end the level. The checkpoint is right in the path of a chained spike ball. If you die and return to the checkpoint you will be instantly killed until lose all lives. Just thought you'd want to know.
  7. I think your right about the spikeball chains. The have always given me trouble. I will try to fix them up. The music in Stone Sea is not a remix. It is from the sega saturn version of Sonic 3D Blast. All the music in that game was different from genesis.
  8. Hi I am glad you liked the demo. To answer your question, there will be three more zones. There will probably not be any more demos before the final release.

  10. Aerosol I glad you like my game. Calcified Cavern and Molten Meltdown were rushed to get into sage, especially the latter. I noticed a lot of mistakes after the demo was posted. There is still work to be done. I am aware that my download link is not working anymore due to traffic. I will post another link from a new file hosting site. Unfortunately is will probably be very slow to download. I have to go to work so it won't be up for a few hours. Hopefully the super fast dropbox link will work again soon.
  11. Thanks for your review. I'm glad to this game reminds you of Sonic CD, that exactly what I was going for. What are your thoughts on the other levels?
  12. Overbound, those new backgrounds look great. I like the bottom one the most. The colours look find to me. Is this the past or the future.
  13. I have played the demo I really love this level. I personally like water levels. The graphics were really well done and look so original. All the gimmicks were really interesting. I especially liked the floating spike balls in the bubbles. I found the up and down moving stair-like platforms a little hard to jump on however. Maybe it would help if it moved a little faster. The music worked perfectly. Overall the level is really coming along well and perfectly captures the sonic CD feel.
  14. Wow. I cant find much to criticize in your demo. It runs very smoothly and has no bugs as far as I can tell. I like your music. It reminds me of Sonic 2's style of music. The tiles could maybe be brighter and some more contrast would help. I love the trees. Keep up the good work, this has a lot of potential.
  15. Hi everyone. My demo is now up on the sage website. there was a some sort of mishap, and my demo was never added. Everything is cleared up now. http://sonicaxiom.angelfire.com/ I have added Molten Meltdown to my demo, because I like the way is coming along and it is mostly complete. i am not sure if I should add the lava shield, so let me know what you think. Also, I have am in the process of changing the tile and grass design of Coastal Causeway, unfortunately I was unable to get it done for sage. Below is a screenshot of the new design. Let me know your thoughts on the demo. P.S. The demo size looks large, but only take about 2 minutes to download.

  17. This level is looking really good. I really love the tiles and the Robotnick pyramid. I hope this makes it into sage.
  18. I just tried your demo, and overall I enjoyed it. The only thing that really bothered me was you added too many badniks, and they all seemed to be clustered together. I also have trouble with enemy placement, especially since the sonic worlds camera seems to not let you see an enemy until it's to late. I really liked Robotnik's animation and the way it played, but you need to take down the number of hits to kill him. Keep up the good work.

  20. I slapped together some foreground details that might look good in your level. You can use them if you like. I made them really quick, feel free to improve. Also, I really like the gargoyle like head tile you made.

  22. Your latest screen shot looks good. The wider tiles make it seem a lot less busy and easier on the eye.
  23. Hi I have some new screen shots of Steel Station Zone. I was never satisfied with the look of this level so I have completely redone the background and the colour scheme. I also changed the music. I like this level a lot better now.
