Here is that youtube video of Tidal Tubes Future I promised.

It seems like there would be enough buttons on the pro controller to make the second analog stick aim the gun. That's how Panzer Dragoon Orta did it and it worked well.

Nintendo's new games sure sound promising. Especially a new Zelda and Star Fox, but at the same time it's kind of a bummer that the games are still so far off. You'd think almost two years into the Wii U's life span we'd be seeing more than just tech demos. Zelda and Fox should be playable form by now.

I'd say more RPGs like the Mario ones. They are very easy to get into and keep the game a bit more action orientated with the timed button press attacks in battle. Plus there no random encounters which I've always found an extremely lazy design choice at least for games made in the past 15 years. Games older than that I can give a break if they are otherwise good.

I think the consensus should be that the older Japanese stories are more epic, but the American stories have better dialog. I guess that make some sense since the stories aren't translated into English but instead begin in English.

Nice I really like that pixel recreation of the Sonic. Though the logo could use some work, the white outline makes it look a bit goofy.

I am not a fan of the new redesigns. However Mercury pointed out to me that the new Sonic Boom design makes his face a lot more expressive. Modern Sonic always seems relaxed with just a slight smile. He never really expresses the cockiness of classic sonic or show much emotion at all. So I rather like that aspect of the redesigns even if the rest of the designs seem needless.

Erazor Neo and I were talking last night and after some discussion we decided to add two new moderators to the forum. Rawr and Mr. Potatobadger have been made forum moderators. They are both great members and represent the best of our community, having them as part of the staff can only make this place better.

That's good I didn't mean to say BID was bad, just not used to it's full potential sometimes. BID is a very useful tool. I use both ways myself photoshop and BID. Heck sometimes I use both of them and with some editing by hand. It depends on the graphic and the kind of curve or slope I want to make.

Just used the warp tool in photoshop. Pretty simple actually provided you know how to do it. It's nice to see fan games with slopes that are not from BID. Because slopes from BID tend to be very short. Granted it has potential to make longer slopes but BID's method for sloping things is best on grass and no one makes custom masks for BID.

Here you go. If you need any specific ones draw a line out and I will attempt to match.

But things are looking good now. BTW, do you have a copy of photoshop? You could make a lot of different slopes better than what BID can do if you did. Or if you just post a copy of the snow I could make you some additional slopes.

Actually XG is still going and ET was canned, but it used to be the otherway around so at one point you were right Briraka. Posting suggestion lists is fine, but let's not critique other's posts, or critique others critiques of posts. It reeks of back seat moderation and adds nothing to the conversation. If an actual Moderator sees an issue they'll take care of it without Lange and Highwire's help. No need to make another mess like the Overture thread. Moving on....
