  1. Thanks son, Open Beats of Rage is an engine for Beat'em up games, but my concept for SGMB be as a brawler game makes it different from the rest of the mods made with it. By share, I mean I'll send them to you for your project, but your free to do whatever you want with them. I can't remeber how man stages I made though, it was almost two years ago. If they are still posted a MUGEN Infantry, I'll send the link.   2. Nice work so far vexer. one part of this that grabs me is that it looks and feels like a real Genesi sonic game, unlike a lot that just look like a computer game. Hope to see some more shots here, the ones you posted were good.
  3. I don't have much to say because I've only seen to shots and the in game shot was a mock up, but the sonic sprite looked really tight. Good luck on this and post more Shizz-nite if you've got any.
  4. Finally! more sonic characters! I know about Mugen and even made a few of my own stages for it, there all sonic related except for the earthworm Jim and Rstar stage, and I'll share those with you if you want them. but I've never learned how to create charaters plus I moved to beats of Rage because Mugen just became to Broken for me, and I was tired of all th Capcom/SNK edits and God characters. bu good luck with this though, Yall might give me reason to start playing MUGEn again.
  5. Yo folks, the other night I released the new demo of SGMB, V7.9, and last night I finally got the data download up. This mirrior is for non-members of Lavalit.com, because you have to be a member to download the mods. The link is the same one i've had posted on the first page of this tread, have fun if you decide to play, and post your comments. On that same post is an attachment showing a list of Chars That will be added to the game, so check it out. Also, This mod has more in it then bost Open Beats of Rage mods, so when the loading bar stops halfway, it's take a while to load everything up, I'm talking 46 characters to the usual 4 to 6 or 7 for mods. So when the bar stops, jus wait it out.

  9. Well it's more along the lines of Electronic mixed with Hip-hop, but if I saw the furries you're referring to then I'd get your point. At this point, it's hard trying to get better when all you have is a demo of a fruity loops program and hardly any good sounds and what-not to work with, and have to sample from other music just to try to make your sound better. but I digress. I'm just gonna keep doing it in the mean time.
  10. For about 2 years I've been making my own music, I even made some for my own games when I first starting homebrewing. I'll be posting more once I make some more demo tracks, I'm too busy trying to finish my next demo to make full tracks at the moment. I get a lot of Influence from Hip-hop, Breakbeats, Electronic, and video game OSTs, So I listen to a lot of different stuff.   11. This looks good, I'll see if I can try this thing. EDIT: Well I was actually able to play. It was pretty good but using the mouse to turn around was a bit of a challenge for me. I got through the first 2 levels but Sonic's dumbass beat me in the 3rd level. Hey, can this game work with PC Controllers, and could maybe use the sticks as the mouse? just askin'.
  12. I remember seeing this a few months ago. It's pretty tight. the running animation needs a bit more work with the arms though, other than that, it's tight. Oh, but..... I'm not feelin' the music too much...
  13. That's one pro about it, but it's also a con. because of the fact that he's immortal(and you have unlimited lives), the made the game HARD ASS HELL! I can get passed half of any of the stages because I'm steady gettin' hit by something.

Just lettin' yall know real quick, I've started the frame work for Chakan a little less than an hour ago and I finished him just a few minutes ago, so now I just have to start setting up a txt file for the game. Also, since those screens I posted above, I've also got Lorenzo and Reese from Dinosaurs for Hire, Earl from Toejam and Earl 2, Fang from Contra Hard Corps and Socket A.K.A. Time Dominator, about ready for the game. not to mention I'm working on more Backgrounds from the sonic series, Contra Hard Corps, Dinosaurs for hire, and Earthworm Jim. Screen shots soon. X)

  20. Yeah it's really cool. The Jump Kick was already put in, it does more damage depending on how long it was extended when it connects with some one. the Ground one I just put in half in hour ago, I Blasts enemies away.

  22. You dont have to attach any to the sprite unless you want to. any entity can throw projectiles as knives. The OpenBOR(That's what we call it now) engine has been updated since it release and still is now, I haven't even learned everything you can do with it yet. @Hyper Emerson yeah, I've played a game made with this before. It seems very similar to MUGEN but I don't you can just download characters for it.
  23. Well I don't wanna go full on easy, but what the hell, the game's fun anyway.

This was why I stopped playing MUGEN after I discovered the Open Beats of Rage Engine, you can download any character to fight each other, that's a plus, but some of the A.I. is too weak or too strong and over time was very Broken. Howver I play Marvel super Heroes from time to time with MUGEN, it's not as broken.

I played Headdy for the second time last night, the first time was a disc I burned for dreamcast, but some of the games were running slowly), and after beating the kick ass first level, I played a bunch of stages and got a good feel for what headdy does. No doubt that headdy WILL be playable in the future, I have a sprite sheet of him, but I'd rather rip His animation instead of putting together myself, along with his heads, I even already came up with is fighting style. and I don't know if many people know about this, but there's this really good Genesis game called Socket, and it plays alot like sonic. Expect him in to. It's pretty fun for me, but yall can check it out.
