  1. You can't "down+jump" in this game to drop from platforms, gsoft. You must "down, down" instead. If you didn't knew, that must mean you weren't forced to play the tutorial level like me. o.o
  2. When i ran the game, it didn't take too long to load. Yes. A Game Maker game didn't take a long time to startup. That's badass, Pro ShadowBlaze. And the game is very, very good. I found it hard, though. Those Egg Pawns were vicious and i've to learn how to block properly. However, there are problems. When i started Story Mode, i got sent to a tutorial level. After i cleared it, the game skipped the battle between Sonic and Gemerl. After i defeated Knuckles, the game then refused to unlock Mission Mode. I returned to Story Mode, beat the skipped level and finished the mode again. Mission Mode wasn't unlocked, but this happened when i entered the Story menu again: It's there, but i can't select it. And every time i quit the game, it tells me an unexpected error has happened and then closes itself. I suppose i should start a new file to try to unlock Mission Mode.

  5. @BlazefireLP Ok. @JetHawk95 The music is from the delta build of Sonic Worlds. I do have most of Tropical Trance's music in my head, but no experience to reproduce it in a music-maker software. =T

  9. I like When Tails Gets Bored and Sonic Web Access. Also, the guy who once made Mega Man Vs. REIROM has recently created a crossover of Splatterhouse and Manos The Hands of Fate. I recommend it.
  10. I'm sorry about the bad level design, but it was just for testing stuff. The rails were meant to work only if Sonic rolled into them... but that's VERY unintuitive, isn't it? I won't use those when i really start creating that level. And to justify this bump, i'll say i've already uploaded a build for SAGE.   13. Now i get it. I thought you meant that you HAD the Special Stages done and that we had to AVOID them!
  14. I see, so the game must be beaten quickly to get the good ending and such, but then, what are the Special Stages for? Also, i agree with Serephim.

  16. Suddenly, my netbook was getting a lot of slowdown and closing Google Chrome didn't help. So i restarted Windows. It didn't start again. Though "safe" mode, which didn't load either*, i found out that SPTD.sys was causing the problem. As a last resort, i tried "last good configuration" mode and it worked! I immediately copied the source of my fangame to a pendrive. *phew* So it seems that SPTD.sys is part of Daemon Tools. Would uninstalling it fix the problem? And if i need to use a iso file for some reason in the future, is there a safer way to do it without using Daemon? *Seems i was supposed to just wait for safe mode to skip sptd.sys for it to load. ... Ok, i just uninstalled both Daemon and the SPTD driver. I hope this situation turns out good.
  17. Everytime i look at your Hidden Palace level, LakeFeperd, i think of Christmas. Also, i finished my new boss attacks and his animations. It takes 4 hits to defeat him with the platforms and 8 with shield jumps or smarmy Tails.
  18. Mostly finished. ...Just asked my little sister to test the game. She kept dropping to the lower routes, getting hit by badniks and didn't understand the solution to the boss. XD

  21. Hey guys, look at mah mad custom Sega logo skillz: First the A appears, then the G and then the E. The C is delayed for a second. Then the SEEGAAAAA! sound i ripped from Sonic 2 (couldn't find it on the web) plays. Should i have Sonic show up and fix the logo (the S drops with a unamused Sonic on top and sends the C away)?
  22. About Tails, when he flies his tails can damage enemies and bosses. They can also deflect bullets like the shields.
  23. Turns out this port IS using Taxman's Retro Engine. Awesome. I've been wondering what he's up to since the Retro Sonic Nexus blog closed (i hope to see news about it soon). =S
  24. Oh, i also have questions about the Music Engine. Do we have to always use Wave files for music? And how do i make the wave files small without losing much quality?
