  1. Couldn't really play it. FPS was 10-20 and control response was very delayed. (CARROÇA: AMD Athlon MP 900MHz, 256 RAM, SiS Mirage Graphics. >_>) But the game does look nice and fun.
  2. This wasn't made with Mugen, though. It was made with Enterbrain's 2D Fighter Maker engine. For some reason, the "Config" option at the menu never works...
  3. About gimmicks: Yeah, i'm trying to think of new gimmicks for the level... About flippers: I originally wanted to create a grass + casino level, but then lost sight of my goal... I'll get rid of them sometime. About hellstorm's diagram: Yes, that'll look better. I just drew that "forest" in, like, a minute, because i couldn't make fancy forest textures and such... About Password's screenshot: He's supposed to go behind those tiles, and some other walls. Try spin dashing to the right... @MCKaosu: What objects are you talking about? @Blue Frenzy: I found the word "Trance" in a dictionary. '_' And Utopia is scrapped? Sigh... Thanks, everyone.
  4. I tried to download the file and it came corrupted two times. You're sure the file is okay?
  5. Project Spikepig is a fangame project i started in 2009. Thanks to my lazyness, creator blocks and general incompetence, only the first zone is completed. Beware that the level design here follows the Sonic CD school. Levels in this fangame may be slow, complicated, nebulous, confusing and frustating. Have unfun playing! 6. Alucard: -WHAT?! Was that a "remake" of the Sonic Boom fan game?
  7. Even though the Password screen says "You Lose", it'll still work. It confused me, too. As for the A.I., all games made with this engine seem to be like that. (Super Cosplay Wars and Project G, for example) The CPU starts knowing when to block and make all sorts of combos, and it gets even worse from there.
  8. Turns out that Needlemouse site was about a fan project. o.o "From: Needlemouse.com PR Dept. To: The Internet Sept. 10, 2009 You've found our Needlemouse project! Congratulations! You may think you're looking at a sample of the upcoming Sega game, which according to recent speculation is called Project Needlemouse. What you've stumbled on is actually a fan-created game that we’ve been calling Needlemouse: The Emerald Hills since we began working on it a few months ago. Here’s the story. What you see above is some early environment art from a 3D re-imagining of a classic series, aimed recreating the tried-and-true side-scrolling platformer with a lot more eye-candy. We are Jono Forbes and Matt Schoen, a pair of game developers who really loved the original, kinematic hedgehog, and decided it would be fun to give him an update. We registered www.needlemouse.com to host our hobby project while we continue to collaborate over a long distance. (A quick Google search turned up no references or links to other games, so we -- ironically -- thought it would be a unique handle for the project.) We had no idea Sega was working on their just-announced Project Needlemouse. No kidding: a total coincidence. Our project officially began in early May although, as with many of our ideas, it had been "on the table" since long before and neither we nor the project have any connection whatsoever with Sega (other than being satisfied customers). Needlemouse: The Emerald Hills is purely a tribute, a nod of the head, an homage to one of the gaming world’s watershed events. We’re just having fun with a piece of extreme (interactive) fan-art as a tribute to our favorite game and the developer of many of the games we grew up on. We must stress that we have no interest in benefiting commercially from our project, and value it only in terms of a representation of our skills and hopefully a fresh experience while taking a stroll down memory lane. We will continue to update this site for like-minded fans who are interested in our progress. Stay tuned here for a news feed, forum, more game content, and upcoming Windows and OS X public beta! Thanks for stopping by. -J&M" http://www.needlemouse.com/
  9. Before: As of now: Next i will edit the pillars, "green things" and hills in the background. Hm, i will scrap the "Flipper Festival" idea, because i think the level looks nothing like a "green casino" anymore. "Tropical Treasury", then? o.o @Slingerland: I'll see if i can draw Sonic. ...What, SFGHQ has a main site?! No way, i cannot believe it! =O
  10. Am i supposed to lose the Mudkip boss battle? I don't see how i can win against them with only Bowser and Kefka(?), who are weak against water and only have a fire spell. When i lost the battle, i didn't get a game over, and the game continued... Except i couldn't move Bowser and had to close the game.
  11. "Lost Ending" has no ending. XD Or is it because i used passwords and continues?
  12. I need some gameplay advice. =( Also, every time i was supposed to win a match by Time Over, i got a Draw instead.
  13. Welcome, Ututuya. I have always wondered about what kinds of Sonic fan games are made by the japanese fans. The game looks fun to play. Is it made in Mugen, or in that other program... The one used in Super Cosplay War Ultra? Also, is Sonic's TEEERIIAAAAA jump attack avaiable for use? XD PS: I loled at the random nonsense that appears before the fights.
  14. Very random and very well drawn. Will you continue the story?
  15. Does it look better now? Now i think about it, i guess i should use brown in the sides of the walls instead of yellow. I am confused, lol.
  16. I think i took a week or so to make the graphics.
  17. "Flipper Hill Zone/Flipper Festival Zone/Casino Hill Zone/Golden Hill Zone - Act 1" (WIP) What do you think?
  18. Does it use a cracked serial? The Builds and Bonus Packs won't work for those. =/
  19. The game's camera doesn't look good to me. Sonic seems like he's too far right or left of the screen all the time.
  20. LarkSS once posted this in the Sonic Rebirth topic: "Just add the code in the red box to the same event you see there within the camera group and the camera will stay nice and steady against Sonic."
  21. @Sky: I've uploaded the 42MB version here: ...Too bad i don't have the 2007 beta. D=
  22. Because there is only one act in the version you have. Didn't you think the smaller file size was strange?
  23. I deactivated the Warp Engine events. Thanks, guys.
