  1. I think your looking for the layers toolbar? (ctrl+K) Since that defines whats on top of what.
  2. Runs fine for me. 4gb ram, 2.33 GHz processor, Radeon X1600 1526mb (wait whut?) No, thats 256mb. My laptops lying to me for whatever reason, I wish my graphics card was that good. Great game as well. Absolutely love the different zooming in and out effects, dust effects and everything. The badniks hitting the screen is genius as well. I don't like having to push springs around though. But if it is kept in the game, at least allow Sonic to push them much faster. Aside from that, really hope this see's final version.
  3. Yeah, I guess why not. I'd gladly do the Sonic one. Give me a few details, and I'll have a crack at creating a few different logo's.
  4. Seriously, thats incredible looking. The various effects looking amazing put together. How the badniks track you, and then get blown off the screen looks brilliant. This looks to be one seriously promising game.
  5. I personally wouldn't recommend using a virtual machine. I tried it once and it was painfully slow. If you want to use windows, I'd personally recommend setting a 10gb or 20gb partition and dual booting windows. Thats what I've been doing, and it works perfectly.
  6. Hmm, I deleted the warp engine, and now it works. ?? I realize there's another warp engine related problem regarding badniks. So clearly the warp engine is doing something bad to Sonic Worlds.
  7. Wait, what exactly do you mean by that. If you mean checking event editor, I've checked through it and tried various different things for nearly 3 hours. As I mentioned in the first post, I haven't been getting anywhere.
  8. I did try that, but it had the same effect. The animation runs once, then disappears. @ flame6753 I suppose I could actually try that, although I'm still suspicious as to why this doesn't work. Afterall, it could help during the future.
  9. OK, I thought it'd be pretty easy to replace spindash animation, but apparently not. I've spend the last i don't know how long trying to get this work. Basically the problem right now is, after I replaced the animation, in the game if I spindash, the spindash will simply produce multiple still images of the first frame. Nothing more. So I tried setting it to run just once as well "one action if event loops" The animation works, but only once. It'll appear, run once, and dissappear. I've tried a many other different things, but I'm getting nowhere. I figure I must be missing something here. So any help would be much appreciated.
  10. You added Mighty Seriously can't wait for that.
  11. Ahh yes, I see. That moves the camera back, so Sonic isn't too far right (or left) of the screen. Thanks, seems to working fine.
  12. I've heard this mentioned a few times, about some camera movements issues that plague a lot of Sonic fan games today. Something to do with the way the camera follows the character, and it not being right;l Just wondering could someone explain a little what thats all about, and if the newest version of worlds has that issue fixed, or if not, what do I need to do, to fix the issue. Thanks
  13. I had exactly the same problem myself. It seems the is an inherit problem with the lastest version of Worlds What I actually did was change the collisions between the badnik and player, by changing wherever it said group 7 to a relevant collision. So where a collision said When: Player is Overlapping "Group 7" I changed it to Player is Overlapping "Badnik" Thats basically worked fine for me ever since.
  14. I do agree with Lark there. A few sections feel clunky. For one, sonic needs to be a bit quicker when pushing a block. Plus a few sections, you try to jump, and you end up hitting the ceiling, missing your jump and plumting to your death. Mainly marble zone. Plus when I paused the game it just froze. Dunno what happened there. And none of music files will work :? Aside from that, it's good game. The art is beautifully done, sonic has some nice animations, music is very good, and the game has a great art style. Not to mention the bonus features, like extra levels, and being able to use the classic sprite are great additions. Iron out and the problems and this will be a great game.
