  2. I must say FGX, I'm very impressed with this engine you have developed I also admire the fact you took advantage of Gamemaker's Capabilities to suit the SonicUnleashed style of game. Despite how much I hate SU's style of gameplay....yours is an exception though.
  3. Well what i'd do is make a value named "Ice area" then probably get some sort of sensory system going on to detect when it is needed to be that and i'd also make the following exprestion. Ice area = 1 Set Xacel 0.24 Set Yacel 0.24 ECT. Hope that helped you a bit.
  4. I totaly agree, I do hate unoriginal Sequals with just a number with the same name. It's so un-original. I guess SonicXG is an exception because the idea of it is original plus extreamly nice graphics.

  8. Nice to know, By the way. Do you have any other zones planned because so far i've only seen 2. Edit: I found a glitch with sonic when attacking the flashing red enemies. He gets stuck in his animation of punching but he doesn't stop causing damage to the enemies. so the hits combo on mine reached all the way to 99924. Yes, I left it on. lol
  9. Just to note that Sunset Hill's BG is NOT animated. But I could just simply upload the file for you. Edit: Oh wait, do you mean the waterfall on the Tree's? I could rip it for you if you'd like?
  10. Actions are usualy animations in SonicWorlds for example Action0 usualy is Standing and Action1 usualy is Jump. So you could say. Just as an example: Button2 Is Pressed Set Action to 10 Action = 10 ("Playskin_sonic") Change animation to "Punch1". Animation Punch1 has finished Set Action to = 0. Only one action when event loops That would probably be the easiest method for a punch in sonic worlds. But it's just an example. I Hope this helped you. Edit: BTW, for your method you want to do for your climb thingy, Another note for you is the ("Ground") Value. It's used to detect if the player is on the floor or not. It could be usefull for you to know that. I believe that this could be used for stopping and starting the action you want to occer.
  11. I don't think you know how much I love this game right now. The graphics are fantastic, the gameplay is nice and smooth, I loved the effect too.....Especialy when supersonic Transforms but I noticed you haven't finished supersonic's pallet change or the supersonic sprites?
  12. I love that BG, were did you get it from? I also love the LOGO in your signature. Did you make it yourself?
