  1. Pity. I have lost interest in it now it's gone commercial (again). Still, at least there's 0.9x.x still being worked on. And alternatives, such as LÖVE, Game Develop etc.

  8. This is a bot - seen profiles of this name on iPhone and Android forums (and Islamic forums, and cooking forums, and...). And a Google search with the terms radiantburrito and spam confirms it. There does appear to be an actual guy called RadiantBurrito on DA and Twitter though - poor guy.
  9. MaxieDaMan's stuff I've always liked, not heard of Ritz190 until now. Pretty nice tune, though the lead brass could stand some tweaking perhaps.
  10. I know it isn't a background, but it does make me think of mountains or something barely visible through the fog for some reason.
  11. Not the Sonic Adventure version? EDIT: Nope, and it's more like Sonic 1 and 2's version than the 3/Knuckles remix 4 uses.
  12. Just taking a look... I don't think it's really necessary to have the "blinking" monitor sprite files repeated like that. Sure, the sprite files are hardly large, but it seems a fair bit of duplication is going on there.
  13. This might be a bit much, but... could you include the sprite sheet files with the engine as well? It'd make it (a little) simpler if people wanted to edit them (not having to hunt down the sprite sheets or having to export them from Construct etc).
  14. Could be interesting for a cut-scene, coming across Nack and Robotnik fighting, before they decide Sonic to be the greater threat...
  15. So, Super Shadow features a bit, does he? Hmmm. If that's the case, then who is he attacking? Eggman? GUN? Somebody else?
  16. So it's going to be dark in the mines, eh? Can Sonic pick up or activate other light sources, or is that just it?
  17. Pardon me if I'm the slowest person around, but - isn't this exactly the same MIDI file as used in the Sonic and Knuckles PC collection?
  18. Tried playing it. There's one part of the level that I'm just completely stumped as to how you're supposed to get past it.

  21. There's already an effort out there to do something pretty much like this. ENIGMA. If you've got experience with C++ and GML, then my understanding is (from browsing their forums), they could always do with more people to help them out (seems collision detection is currently a sore point).
  22. It sounds like Sonic 2 HD as well - but isn't that a Retro team project too, so...
  23. Yeah, at the moment it looks like the game crashed somehow (if it hasn't seeing how the sky comes through in the bottom right corner). Those bright yellow bricks stand out, and I'm not entirely sure it's in a good way; they seem distracting. Less of them, maybe more of the orange bricks, might work.
