  1. Which idle animation are you using? Just so I can make the 'Looking Up' frames transition correctly. I'll give the hanging animation a shot too. EDIT: Just noticed the looking frames were done already. Whoops. I'd still like to know which idle you're using, though. EDIT AGAIN: Finished! Here ya go :3
  2. Pretty sure that's intentional, Alex. Looking good, Libi! I made some little edits to his quills and posture: The profile(?) view of his head has some banding on the middle and bottom quills. Here's an example fix: I widened and removed some of the shading on the middle quill to (hopefully) make it come out more, as well as add more shape and shading to the bottom quill. Finally, I removed a some shading on the top quill, although I'm not entirely sure if that looks better.
  3. @Highwire: Lost Adventure looks gorgeous. Holy balls. As for Beta, her design is pretty cool. I'm interested to see how the gun works! Made an edit to the sprite to adjust her arms' length as well as add a bit more detail to the face. Here. Hope you don't mind! I'm pretty bad at giving written critique. >.<
  4. The second one, more is going on and it has more of a funny feel to it. Remember to add ears to Sonic, he looks a bit odd without them. Good job so far, looking forward to more. Oh, and if you're using Paint, don't use the fill tool after drawing with the brush. The brush tool is anti-aliased, and doesn't work well with the fill tool (thus creating the little white bits). Use the pencil tool instead.

  7. @Tragic: Haven't seen that before, nope never. ;3 The character selection screen looks new, though. Very nice!
  8. I feel like there may be some sarcasm embedded within the post above, Blitzn. Anyway, I like the amount of detail in the level! It's really coming along nicely. Only thing that sticks out to me is how pillowed the tips of the grass sprites look, but that's a pretty minor detail. Keep up the good work, SuperBliz!
  9. Hmmm, well if I remember correctly, in MMF2 you need to tell it where the variable belongs. Right? (0.8(X('objIdk')-8)^2) - 81? I dunno if that even helps. Haven't used MMF2 in quite awhile..

  11. So I messed with a few heads, and now the style looks a bit different. I want to show what I've come up with.. Not exactly in-style, but I like how they turned out. They were fun to work with. I'll do more and try to make them more true to the look you are going for.
  12. Omai. That Super Sonic looks fabulous. I'll take a look at the head used for walking, and mess with Super Sonic a little (for fun x3). We'll see if I can be of any help.
  13. Played it. Loved it. Although there seems to be a glitch at the end of the first act where the player dies after getting to the goal and moving right.. Other than that, the first level is brilliant!
  14. This is driving me nuts! It looks like the player is being resized a tiny bit when he's on a slope, causing the anti-aliasing. This happens even if the sprite doesn't rotate on a slope.. I have no clue how to fix this. I'll ask Deko to see if he can do anything about it. Sorry! D:

  16. Huh, that's odd.. The spinner's don't look blurred. I think they are just sprited that way. Perhaps there is something in the Draw event for the player or parent that's messing up the quality of the sprite. What's the base engine you are using?
  17. Instead of announcing the obvious, how about bring it back on topic? You should do what you want until you are happy. Even if that means redoing sprites, layouts, tiles, etc.. When you think you are set with a design, show us and we will give some advice on how to improve. Once that's done, move on. No hurry, dood. Take your time!
  18. That's pretty cool! I love the shoes. Sonic's arms look like they should be moved up a pixel, and the belly should follow the same light source as the rest of the sprite (It looks pillow/gradient shaded). Other than that, <3.

  21. The only thing I see that could make that a copy would be the water, but I'm sure that could be made easily. That looks great, Hybrid! The big sign looks out of place tho.. Maybe remove some of the decorations on the beach?

Including optional bosses featuring characters from other games? That seems kinda fun! Edit: *I mean clicking on the address bar and pressing enter.. F5 doesn't seem to work for me.
