I'm not being a tool and I'm not racist. Obama being elected is a symbol of how far this country has come from slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation. Even though he is only mixed, there are a lot of people who believe that if you are at least 1/16th black blood in you than you are black. It is true that he may not be as good a president as we hope, but regardless we have him for the next four years at least.

I'm glad to be able to see something like this happen in America. I even got to watch it at school, though there were so many people talking that I couldn't hear much of it.

Thats interesting, I actually want to major in Computer Science once I get out of high school. And as for schools, mine seems to be a bit different from yours. At my school, we have to take at least 2 tech-related electives per year, so we have to take those classes. I've also noticed that the Juniors at my school seem to work with 3D maze games, Dark GDK, and FPS creator so that's probably what I will get to work with. But for the kind of projects that I want to work on, I'll probably need more experience. Do you have any suggestions for someone who would want to do game development as a hobby?

We can basically work with whatever kind of robotics we want. Even the Mindstorm.

LOL, my school's a bit better. For my first year I have to learn to use microsoft office(as a review) HTML(I can do that) Dreamweaver, Flash, and Visual Basic. In later grades you have to learn C++ and Java. You even get to work with robotics.

Damizean- I sorta figured as much.Thank you for the help I actually already have that saved on my computer, but since it's not finished I guess I have to wait. Dimension Warped- Well I don't want to do that unless I have no other options.(Which i'm sure there are.) Also, my school does have a class that requires you to code a basic game from scratch and requires you to do some 3D modeling as well. I'll be taking it soon enough. As a quick question, how did you learn how to program and make games and how long did it take you?

Hello, I will be taking classes on programming at my high school pretty soon(I'm 9th grade btw) and I was wondering if any of you guys could help me with a future project that I will be working on. I have just downloaded a disassembly of Sonic 3 & Knuckles and I was wondering if there were any way to convert the assembly code of the game into a high-level programming such as C. My school does not have any electives covering assembly programming, so I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me to a tool if one exists. I have just purchased a copy of the 360 Sonic Unleashed and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with the daytime stages. There were still some glitches and issues in the game, but I can honestly see this game as a step in the right direction. The engine was very well polished and proved that when you take your time, you can make something decent. The nighttime levels are boring at times, but they aren't as terrible (IMHO) as alot of the reviewers like to make it seem. I hear that the Wii version has better level designs. How much better are they?

I was wondering what was the funniest sonic related video you all have seen. For me it would either have to be or lol.

Well if hes new to Blender, he needs to start out with something simple right? And that engine has all the basic features need for a sonic game. Also, not everyone picks up on game making programs as quickly as others. He could also use the dami/mark engine.

I would suggest this engine for blender. http://www.senntient.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=199 I warn you however, blender is complicated. You may need to read up on it some more before you start a project in it. Hope that helps.

I am currently working on a sonic fangame and I was considering the use of another program besides MMf and Gamemaker. I was wondering which programs (besides the two I listed) Are generally used to make sonic fangames. Help would be greatly appreciated.
