  1. Don't remind me, I'm so backlogged with stuff, the only exception I made with not downloading new series was Sengoku Basara 2. As for recommendations: Texhnolyze - gritty depressing cyberpunk with 10 lines of dialogue in the first episode. If you think you can stomach it, go for it, it's amazing. Princess Tutu - extremely well written "magical girl" series without any fetish bullscrap. Also, ninjas with guitars. Sengoku Basara 1 - it's like the God Hand of anime. So fucking amazing. Goes to 11 and beyond. TTGL ain't got shit on it. (EDIT: just saw that SG mentioned it.)
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATE! (anticapslock filter)
  3. Sooooooo... The PC version of Calamity Trigger is finally out... It supports cross-platform with Xbox360, so if anyone wants to try the inferior version with me, my username is cyberrat101
  4. Yea. I keep them up to date and have Win7 on auto-update.
  5. I'm liking Windows 7 more than XP, but like I said, I've had 5 or so BSODs without trying to break it. As far as I understand, all the people I know haven't seen one on Win7 since release.
  6. I think it's worth shelling out for a 64bit processor. I don't really see a reason not to buy one if you're getting a new PC. I cannot vouch for Construct and MMF2 (you better check their official forums), but all the emulators that I used on WinXP work without any issues or with very very very very minor glitches. And if an emulator doesn't work, I'm sure there has been a 64bit update in the meantime, or that you can find a new emulator that's compatible.
  7. I haven't had any issues with Win7 for now. I do admit that I've had 5 or so BSODs in one year, but then again, I'm one of the rare few that never saw a BSOD on WinXP. My advice is to get Win7 x64 if you have 4GB RAM. I haven't regretted the upgrade. As for WinXP compatibility, the only things I couldn't run properly were Max Payne 1 and System Shock 2. Everything else I tried worked like a charm.
  8. I've gained a new interest in watching movies in the cinema these days (3D or not). This year has a lot of releases I'm looking forward to, like Machete, and .I saw Inception yesterday with some friends expecting nothing spectacular and getting a pretty well thought out action movie (I honestly consider it an action flick, even though it's not obvious until you're an hour in). Your mileage may vary regarding the ending, but it's worth the money (well, at least in Serbia. The ticket was less 4 dollars here :S). So, anyone seen anything fun lately? Recommendations, warnings?
  9. Dude, that is awesome. I fucking love that speaker. I was wondering how you'd handle the dialogue and you didn't disappoint. (Also, my older brother was passing by and also said it looked awesome (and he's more of a drawin' person). So two compliments!)
  10. I like Red now. Overbound is meh. I also like SAGE. I hope I'll be able to keep up with most events.
  11. Here are the core mechanic changes from CT to CS (not character specific changes): Part 1 Part 2It's not mentioned, but I personally think that the physics underwent some changes (especially Tager's magnetism physics).
  12. Based on the videos: If you wanted to make a parody, I honestly think you should have used more dashpads to make it feel as "on-rails" as possible. For example, in the Casino Night Zone, you missed a lot of opportunities to put a dashpad, but then stacked 7 or 8 right before the boss fight. And why no dashpads during boss fights? Honestly, that would be awesome in my opinion. By the way, I don't know much about hacks, but would it have been possible to increase Sonic's max speed?
  13. Just so you know, there's an Xbox360 version as well (although I personally think it's torture to play non-Street Fighter fighting games on that thing).
  14. Now, now, now, let's not forget that Noel's playstyle has a completely different feel to it! But seriously, it's not like Hakumen had it hard VS Noel in CT (At least the run-ins I had weren't all that bad). This is a slight advantage that lasts 3 seconds (unless you continue spamming projectiles at it, in which case the timer resets every time). Now, Rachel, she's gonna feel dat void.
  15. It depends, really. Some Astrals are really useless, while others are quite usable in real matches. Hakumen's counter Astral could counter anything other than projectiles (yes, it could even counter grabs and command grabs), but you had to pull a 720+D which was a big fuck you for a character that's full of slow basic moves. They made a few changes to Astrals in CS: all characters have them (no need to unlock), you can do it in your winning round (ie, round 2 of possible 3 if you'll win the match); you need to have one barrier burst at least to do it and your character portrait glows, so you know when it's doable. Plus, Hakumen's input is changed to "Hold down -> press up + D", which means no cross-ups and you can it much easier. Oh and it counters Tager's fucking grabs.
  16. I played Hakumen in CT, so I welcome the new moves and doable Astral in CS.
  17. Rachel wasn't as ''nerfed'' as much as she was ''crippled''.
  18. I have three friends that are importing the US version, so if anyone ever sees a player called filenotfound404 (PS3), challenge me. (although it'll be rare since I myself don't own a PS3)
  19. The world would be awesome if it had a filter. Mmmmm... Filtered world...
  20. Don't remind me. I was hoping for at least Namco VS Capcom (but then again, they'd only put Morriggan and Felicia from the Darkstalkers cast...). Damn, dude, you covered everything I would have said, or would have wanted to say but would probably forget.
