  1. Hey what's up everyone, i'm Ravenfreak. I'm currently 22 years old and have been a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since I was 4 years old. I've been part of the sonic scene since late 2008 when I first joined Sonic Retro, but got into hacking in late 2009. I love to hack the 16 bit games as well as the 8-bit games but I hack Sonic 2 SMS more than anything else. I know a few programming languages but not too much to actually make something worthwhile. I did program a basic command line calculator in C++ before though. Any who that's me in a nutshell. :V

  2. Featuring a fully original soundtrack and new sprites, Sonic Before The Sequel '12 has been released! Sonic Before The Sequel is a fangame by LakeFeperd. The game is designed to explain what happened between Sonic The Hedgehog and Sonic The Hedgehog 2, such as how Tails met Sonic, how the Death Egg was built, etc. The game uses the Sonic Worlds engine, and is very similar in design and gameplay to other Classic Sonic games, with 12 zones and 2 different endings. The ending you achieve depends on your "Time Points," points that reduce as you play through the game. The newest '12 release features a fully new OST and custom sprites. 3. Greetings again, my name is Shaun. I posted around here awhile back for a bit. I've been a Sonic fan since 1991 and own a majority of the games. I also use to make Sonic sprite comics back in the day but since stopped with that.

  4. I would like to see more gameplay with just Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles sort of like a throwback to the classics. It'd be nice to see the other characters make cameos in the game though too, and perhaps you could play as them in mini-games?

  5. Going along with what others have already said, I want to see something bigger, more original, and more challenging, more akin to Unleashed. A story with more meat to it and and big hub worlds to explore would be great, as well. Despite their critical reception, it seems like the recent games have just been smaller projects done on a tighter budget by the American studio (kind of like the Storybook games, but with less emphasis on the story). I wasn't able to appreciate them as much as most people, because it just felt like so much was "missing". As far as other things I would like to see, a new Riders game (minus the unnecessary Kinect peripherals) would definitely grab my attention. I don't hate the All-Stars games, but they aren't really Sonic games, they're SEGA games, and they seem more modeled after Mario Kart. With Transformed, I feel like they focused specifically on the same audience they were aiming for with Colors and Generations, and that kind of pushed me away from being interested in it. Another digital/mobile game with Sonic 4's graphical prowess but designed more like the recent handheld games (Colors DS, Generations 3DS, etc.) would also be really fun to see, especially with all of these Android-based game systems on the horizon. Now that we have physical controls and more powerful chips, I would like to see them push it even further.
