Sonic Origins DLC Expansion Pack Press Release & Screenshots

Sonic Origins Plus has been announced by SEGA. This will be in the form of an expanded physical release, along with a digital upgrade for owners of the original release. Amy Rose will be added as a playable character across the four SEGA Genesis titles, Knuckles will be playable in Sonic CD, and there will be 12 emulated Game Gear titles. The physical release will include a 20-page art book, a reversible SEGA Genesis inspired cover, and a coaster. The collection will be available for pre-order for PlayStation 5, 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X. SEGA has provided a press release along with the first screenshots of the expansion pack.

Sonic Origins Plus is set to release digitally and physically on Sonic’s birthday, June 23, 2023, for $39.99 USD for the entire game on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch™ family of systems and PC.
