A few months back, I started a thread which used to be found here: http://sonicunited.org/hsfqmtif/forum/showthread.php?t=7722 This thread suggested that we turn Sonic Fan Games HQ into a website based on 'General Fangame Creation' citing the game "Freedom Planet" as an example WHY this should happen. Recently, Freedom Planet (a game that started on here) raised over $6,000 in support and as such I bumped my thread to further suggest that my previously suggested idea was a GOOD IDEA. If a one-man team could raise $6,000 what is the potential of the rest of our website? It is intelligently written and suggests a change to this website. It was not locked or hidden when I first posted it but now suddenly a moderator / administrator took action? No one here is interested in turning this place into anything larger than it is. Overbound already made his place for your general indie game stuff so go there instead. This is SFGHQ, this forum is nothing but a bunch of guys who occasionally make Sonic fangames and NO ONE really has a problem with just being that. We don't care about getting outside talent, we don't care about changing our image. This place is a resource and a celebration of Sonic fangames. Nothing more. You know why Smidge hasn't responded to your stupid PM? Because he has no interest in selling this place to you. DimensionWarped Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 While this thread is nice and closed and all, I figure it's worth pointing out that the thread in question is in no way hidden and the only reason it isn't 'visible' is because the last post currently in it is from last July... so it's on page 4 for my current number of threads per page. I don't know if Ila deleted the last post Eminence claims to have made (in which case, ok, big whoop.
