StealthyMC
Recently I've been trying to make a modern version of the SDASH engine (with homing attack, grinding, etc.) But I found a weird glitch recently. Whenever Sonic spindash into a wall, Sonic's standing animation speed goes bonkers. Notes: - I removed the part of the code for the "Waiting" animations - Sonic's standing animation speed is set to 0.15 - The animation handling code for Sonic's "Idle" animation is now like every other animation (Walking, Jogging, Running, etc.) +rep to anyone who can help. EDIT: And whenever Sonic crouches, instead of changing animations to "CrouchDown", Sonic's animation frame for standing just stops on whatever frame it is.
USC
Check the code for the standing animation. Is there anything in there that tells it not to display the standing animation if, say, the Down arrow is held/the 'crouch' flag/variable is on? If not, add that and see what happens.
Apricity
I assume you're using the SDASH+ as a base?
StealthyMC
Well, actually I fixed the crouching problem. I had two animations with the label [Animation6]. But yeah I'm using the SDASH+, but it's not the one you're developing Chronic. It's an older build that was sitting on my computer so I decided to add all this stuff to it. Apricity
The original Sonic Dash engine didn't have this problem. I edited the SONIC.anim file to allow for peelout and re-released the engine. Thats when the trouble started occuring. Try using an older SONIC.anim file.

I think the problem is because I removed the "Waiting" animation. Is that a possibility?
Apricity
No I have the problem. Like I said I edited the sonic.anim file and it started happening.
