  2. Super Sonic not interntional. However, i'd like to keep it but still unsure. Thanks for the feedback! Indeed he is! Awesome! I'd like to keep an open mind about that in the future. So for now, I'll say possibly. Initially, I wanted to use the hanging tail sprite for jump. I can create a roll sprite to try out, hope it doesn't make it look more odd. A lot of work indeed, thanks for playing!
  3. Hey folks! I present to you a short and sweet special demo edition of Sonic Mobius! (I know, it's about time I produce something playable!) A screenshot: Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?s349u468s534wxm Purpose of the demo is to 'demonstrate' some of the important features of the game itself but is presently incomplete. Zone is short and some demo tiles still remain until full tileset is completed. The full version will feature multiple large levels as planned. Development progress will resume when the next Sonic Worlds version is released. Zone 1 Graphics completion: 60% Level Mapping (Total Project): 30% Level music is from Retro Sonic by Taxman and is only temporary. Credited in documentation. Play as Sonic, Tails or Nack the Weasel! Nack's sprites are a little buggy with some Knuckles sprites still remaining (Fly and Hyper). Some hot spots are off with standing/wait animations. Will all be corrected in the next release. Enjoy!
  4. Hirokazu Yasuhara was more of the "lead" designer. However, Iizuka did have some involvement. Since Iizuka did have a lot to do with Sonic 4's design, I would have expected a little more than what we are going to be presented with. Personally, I think it's satisfying, but not to the extent of "true blue".

  7. Great suggestion! I actually have a completely different background in mind for that zone, but I plan on a variation of blue in the BG. Maybe even clouds too.
  8. Awesome!! Thanks! Rep+ to you. It's okay to release them as free to use, i'll probably end up altering some of it anyway when I work on the zone. EDIT: I'll probably end up doing something like this with the tile designs: (BG in screen is from a hack)
  9. Pardon me for double-posting, but Overbound, are you planning on doing anything with the snow designs in the first two of the set that you posted? Excluding ground pattern of course. If it's for grabs, I would like to use the snow design for Polar Palace Zone in my project. I like the dark and lighter blue, but not sure which I like more. May I?

  11. They look very nice! The color is good too, I like the first one the best with the darker blue snow palette.
  12. It happened after the boss fight. When I come back to it, i'll see if it happens again.
  13. It's overall pretty fun. I got stuck at the boss and couldn't go any further after he disappeared then I had to quit the game. I will play again. Nice level layout too!
  14. It's very easy to get sidetracked from project work. I find myself even having lots of time to do it but I can't get into the groove. When times like that come along, fangame work is much easier with some music playing and I find one thing in particular that needs worked on, like tileset designs or engine tweaking and just do it. Music does help a lot. And as for fitting time into doing project work, I have too much time so I can't say a lot to help with time management. Good luck!

  16. 6 more days guys! I can't wait to see what's on the menu this year. .. and curious to see if Overbound got that second level done yet.
  17. I actually agree. It will all be different when it is redesigned, and in that case I want to have Sonic on the left and Tails on the right for a change.
  18. Here's pretty much what it is now (concept), but I plan on making it more extravagant later on, with all custom designs. And thanks, Riptor!
  19. Only I wish I were entering this year. But indeed, sure sign of Sage coming! Pretty sure many are sweating bullets at this moment to wrap up their projects for deadline.
  20. Something I came up with for my project, game save, character and zone/act select: Possibly some new ideas down the road as time passes but this works for now.
