Hey guys, I have been working on implementing homing attack in my game and here's my dilemma. For my event that initiates my homing attack, I need it to only initiate if the "target object" is within a certain distance of sonic. Well of course just checking the X & Y coord's range works, but if I have another target; lets just say its on the other side of the level, then because this object isn't in range of Sonic, his homing attack will not initiate!
I'm sorry if this question sounds a little confusing, it's very hard to word it because I know what the problem is, exactly which event it is in, I just don't know how to fix it! Also, I'm really really really trying to avoid making a whole new sensor just for homing attack... actually scratch that, I refuse to, because I know it's not necessary and theres a more effective means of going about this.
