  1. Well, a few things. Due to new player size you need to fix the distance of the collision sensors to avoid sonic to put his head inside walls xD And it seems that the tile layer have too much depth. Change it to a big negative value. And...erm....you can also make the object that draws the background follow sonic, so it wont be int the deactivate region -.- You can send me the editable file and i'll fix this things, this is the easiest way PD Awesome, that human sonic style, really
  2. You can always reactivate these objects after deactivate de rest. And what you mean with "scenary objects"?? Tiles?? Anyway, make sure the objdeactivate doesn't modify sonic's depth.
  3. "seems the same but with green blocks" = "i dont like the graphics" .... Curious, the way you think. And, about the physics, I really dont feel the same that with the original games, so it can be improved somehow.
  4. Is a bit better than the old one, not to much. It seems the same with green blocks :/ I noticed that now you get the correct angle when jumping. And the collision with springs seems improved too. And the weird things: -Spindash dust always facing to the same direction, easy to fix. -When tails get tired of flying, he gains to much vertical speed, you should smooth it. -And the players have some strange bug. they got stuck sometimes when you're making the idiot with spindash and rolling. in tails you can fix it when flying, but with sonic you must restart -.- And the physics of the characters must be improved too.   5. I'm always playing the jak & daxter saga, the best platform and action games ever xD But when I have no chance to play ps2, i play Tremulous, an awesome opensource online game for PC.

  9. i'm working on a seaside hill/ocean palace tileset. currently I only have the mountain and basic grass texture with some slopes made with b.i.d. and an attempt of white rock way: So what do you think guys? Think that I'm new on drawing art xD
  10. It's dont needed. I know what are you talking about. Well it's just a demo. I dont stopped at every detail to fix it. I know this is not the most profesional work around here. And sure you are thinking in the background at the start of sonic stage xDD I'm thinking about the best way to fix it

Any QTE needs that change! just z/x to a/s/d -.- w/a/s/d is just for control the Tornado I remember that the level was from the engine test xD I find it funny , on every sonic game are badniks placed in strategic places to hurt you always xD My fault, no sfx and no visible objects. Sonic is going through pipes, supostly. About dialogues: I think i'm gonna continue with that cheesy remarks. i love humour in games xD And some more things: Not my first try, i have a lot of dead sonic fangames xD And i dont understand what you want to mean with "lack of experience", of what are you talking about exactly?   12. SPK presents: -------SONIC LAST CHAOS----------- Well, finally I've started to make another fan game. This time I come up with a project on which I worked as hard as i never did. This is only a demo, with two playable stages, one with Tails and one with Sonic. It will be a game like sonic adventure 2, with more than run run levels, a (interesting) plot and in-game scenes. Some screenshots: The game starts with a small scene. After that you will be controlling the Tornado. Close the starting stage information by pressing enter. Move it with a,s,d,w, move the aim cross with the mouse and shot with left button. The following sonic stage is the engine test zone just with backgrounds xD. Reach the end of the stage to finish de demo. Now I can prove I have some work on hands, so anyone who wants to join the "team" will be welcome, specially graphists.   18. Now, that my engines is 90 % done, I want to start making my game. I can take the programation part (of course) and the music part too (but better if there's a musician free...). But I suck at making original tiles, thats why every fangame i tried to make failed. So i'm looking for a team. I accept every type of help, programming, object spriting, music...in special tile making!! xD I only want to know who would be interested in making a complete sonic game, with lot of hard work and spended time. I'm saying it, I want a serious project, not a a project that will go down at first problem. I dont mind how much faster we make it. Only want the awesome results i'm looking for.   19. That looks cool but...ground tiles from gloom valley are ugly for me (not the "grass") I mean the rest, despite being well made. Maybe with more brighness and more blue tones... Cool anyway

Complete list of features: -Homming Attack -Special rings for lightdash. -Ceiling Landing -Gringding with layering -Sonic Unleashed style boost -Moving platforms -Balancing (that's a ZFG idea) -Genesis shields with their habilities. -Breakable walls. -Real collisions with spikes. -Animation for stage finish -Pipes -View lock system for bosses and cinematics -Optimized checkpoint system -Script management for actions that need largue ifs. Very usefull ^^ PD No backward homming attack!!!! PD2 Still lack of SFX!!!! More or less, this is the source code of my next fangame, and step by step, the features are increasing a lot. With more players, a working corckscrew and flippers, i think this will turn in the most complete engine ever (complete, not better) so have fun guys and tell me any bug you find. Well, thx CS, but i dont see why should sonic only attack forward xD well guys, some improvements were made: -I optimized the button sequence code, i think now it's more easy to understand. -Also have been added a system to stop the view and unable sonic to leave the view area. -Pipes, as I said centuries ago xD (algorythm to improve yet) -And A few codes now goes with some explanation too. -If anyone noticed any bugs with checkpoints, know it have been solved too -Added also "scripting ifs", to see clearly the needed conditions to perform each action very usefull i think. cya

  24. I can help you with that. Just think in gimmicks, moving platforms, and a few long jumps. Also some only-battle moments would be awesome. And make sure the stage to have more than one way, depending on difficulty. Here only plays your creativity xD
