Good grief. It's like SAGE is the Titanic and everybody's gotta be Kate Winslet today. Here's the fact of the matter, as I see it: I tried to keep in the loop and effectively got cut out. The Skype planning chats? OK, I was there. The Google Docs preparation sheets? OK, I was involved with those. We need a coordination forum between SFGHQ and Retro? OK, I'll set one up. People talking in #fangames? OK, I'm there or getting relays from people who are. And then everything falls quiet on my end, so I assume there's nothing on that front, only to hear all this. Smidge, I respect your feelings on SAGE and everything we discussed months ago, but quite frankly, this is ridiculous, and trying to insinuate it was Retro's lack of cooperation is just silly. I can only give you resources and help out if someone contacts me to let me know how to do that. What I did get when I was contacted was basically "hey SS, sign off all of this for us," and I know that would have just made people even more upset, because SAGE isn't even my thing. I can't magically know if there's planning going on elsewhere if no one bothers to tell me. Come and talk to me. I'm pretty much one of the easiest people to find on the Internet, even when I'm not around actively. That you haven't done so prior to now says you probably don't have any interest in doing so, but it's not a lack of willingness on my end.
