  1. Let me just say that I'm sorry if I've been too pushy with my questions. It's just that the fact that wanting to make something cool and not knowing how, may be quite frustrating. Please, don't put a label on me, and see me as an apprentice. I'll be improving. Do you know if I can find the instrumental versions of certain songs? I've looked for them in Google, but they only take me to lyrics. I'm specially interested in the ones from Sonic Next-Gen. The ones from the SA series, I think I can find. But answer as you can, just like you've been doing in other topics, not mine. And I assure you that I'm working on this game. I'm even creating sprites at the moment. It's what I'm better at. The programming is the hard part. That's why I need help. PS: Sorry for double-posting.
  2. Does anybody know how can I get the songs from Sonic games, but without voices? Only the instrumental version. For example, "His World", "All Hail Shadow" (S06), "Dreams Of An Absolution", "Open Your Heart", "Live and Learn" and maybe others. I can't find them, and I don't know if they even exist. I'll appreciate your help.
  3. I extracted them all, and it took less than 10 minutes. And I can't believe that there are hundreds of voice clips from each character. Maybe I'm overreacting, but they are all together around 4500 voice clips. It's outstanding. Well, thanks for the help.
  4. Thanks a lot! I've been looking all over for these files! I didn't know there were so many voice clips. Yikes... I'm specially glad about Ryan's (Sonic's), Scott's (Knuckles') and David's (Shadow's) voice clips. They will do just right for my game. Oh, and I'll sure need William's (Tails') and Bill's (Espio's) clips, too. These 5 characters will be the main ones. Although I'd like to have more Corey Bringas than William Corkery. Corey sounds so much better than him. Anyway, it may be better than Amy Palant. And I know good clips made by Corey. I think I'll do fine.
  5. I want the voice clips too. I've been looking for them. I'm doing how you explained: I've found "SH_VOICE_E.afs" and I've found "AFSEXPLORER". Now what? I have a list of lots of names here, but I don't know how to use "AHX2WAV" here. Please help.
  6. OK, I haven't get much help lately, so I was wandering if there's here someone that can help me understanding MMF2's programming. DW, if you've read this, get in contact with me when you can. I know you know how it works. If there's anybody else, please reply. Thanks in advance. Right now, I'm trying to work with the actions. Like, Jumping is Action 1, Falling is Action 2, that sort.
  7. I'll first get the program, then I'll think about how to make the scenes fit in the game, without putting too much weight on it. Thanks for your answers.
  8. Really, what's the difference between Flash CS3 and Flash 8? And do I need to pay anything for the account? PS: Sorry for double-posting.
  9. Do I need to pay anything? Does anybody knows what's exactly the difference between "Flash 8 Professional" and "Flash CS3 Professional"?
  10. So you have a link for its download? Is it from the same company as Flash 8 Professional? Is the link, the one in your 1st post here? EDIT: How do I download Flash CS3 Professional? I don't have an Adobe account.
  11. What's the exact name of the program I need and what's the link to its direct download? I think I have the answer to the 1st one. The most recent is Flash 8 Professional. What do you guys think? It was the one used in the last episodes of "Super Mario Bros. Z". In the earlier episodes, it was Flash MX 2004.
  12. And your point is... I meant that this reason I have could be a rush. We don't need to be always talking about this. Let's drop it, please. Does anybody know how to answer my questions?
  13. That's not exactly a rush. A rush would be wanting to make it before the summer ends. There's a slight difference.
  14. I'm not doing anything at this time, except sprites. Working on the engine needs, in my case, some assistance which doesn't come every day. Starting to make cutscenes right now, would be better for me, because I like that part best. I'm keeping my question: What's the exact name of the program I need and what's the link to its direct download? About what you said, DW, I'll go easy on this. Time is not a problem for me, I'm not in a rush. The only rush I have is to quickly accomplish all this. To Dragon: You should see my imagination. What I imagine is much more powerful and action-full than plain comic book strips. But I'll not reject that idea. SADV3 had something like that and it went pretty well.
  15. So, I use Macromedia Flash, or something, and make some kind of movie in it, and then, use that extension to insert it in MMF2? Does the link in the 2nd post gives me the right download for this kind of program? I mean the methods and, maybe, the effort needed. You know, "path movement", "at time whatever change this to the other", that sort of thing. Everyone, please tell me what's the program I need to use, and if I have any problem figuring out how it works, or how do I put the movies in MMF2, please explain. I'll appreciate it.
  16. Yes, that's it. And what program do I need to use to make movies like the ones I mentioned in the 1st post and put them in MMF2? Is Active X an MMF's extension that let's me do that sort of things? I'm sorry for this questions, but I'm not quite a programmer. I really know how to work with Paint and I'm improving in MMF2. Other than that, I need some help yet.
  17. I don't intend of being rude. I'm sorry if you've taken that like this. When you say you use that program, you're saying you use it to make movies, right? I'll see if there's another way. How do I do that? And will it help the game not being too heavy? Now, stopping talking about Flash, what if I really used MMF2? If it's more difficult, I'd reconsider Flash. What's your opinion?
  18. Is that an alternative instead of downloading it? And I need the answers to the previous questions!!
  19. Thanks for the help and the advice. I don't know how to buy it, dough. This may help for now. Are you sure that I can put the movies inside the application like they were plain frames (MMF language)? And how's the exact name of the program? I'll check if I already have it. These two questions need an answer.
  20. I'm not very advanced in the engine, but I thought that starting the cutscenes now would advance the game creation process a bit more. So, I was thinking about how to make them. The technology from MMF2 doesn't seem good enough for the required action. What about Flash? I saw some sprite movies with Flash like Super Mario Bros Z, and another one about Sonic and Shadow fighting. They both were too DBZ for me to like them, but they were very well done. Can I make movies like these with Flash and then, put them in my application? And do you know any site where I can learn how to work around with it? (I know you're not Google, but I want to know if you know any site that teaches me the right way) And how to get the program? I don't even know how it's called. And, BTW, does it take too much experience to accomplish results like the ones in the above mentioned movies? I want to know how long will it take for me to learn. I'll appreciate your help.
  21. I didn't want to start a fight out of that. But people don't say that about another member's fangame. At least, you should say it's a joke. End of story. And I like your screenshots.
  22. I don't care what you think. I wasn't thinking about that. I was thinking about using these ones as a free mode character. Besides, lots of people making fangames use each others sprites, and credit is given. And, please, don't "eeeew" me. I won't insist if he says no. It's a simple question.
  23. If you can, could you give me a sprite sheet of Silver? And nice game. I was also planning on making a fangame of Sonic The Hedgehog. After I'm done with Sonic Galaxy.
  24. You couldn't have been more clear! Thanks. And his grammar really sucks!
