  1. To all SFGHQ members, this might strike you as familiar... But hey, United members didn't get this before, so there ya go. I was in one hell of a hurry, so this is what I could get in time. Enjoy~
  2. OH HO HO HO HO

  3. I just found out that there's another KS for the Service Games: Rise and Fall of Sega book. This time it's for a hardcover version. 5 days left, about ~$900 left to raise. Ebook version for $7 doesn't sound bad. Also, if any of you missed the Sega Genesis Collected Works book KS, you can preorder the book at http://readonlymemory.vg.
  4. Okaaaay, this has catched my attention. Downloading...
  5. It happened to Dungeon Keeper. I can already feel it coming. But you know... the ones to blame for microtransactions are the customers themselves. Devs won't do something that they know will fail. That being said, GoG.com surely has the old ones... including Dungeon Keeper.
  6. Keep in mind that it's fairly customizable - open the preferences dialog and check the Event List Editor part. You can turn off the object icons, for example. Also, tune the zoom slider until you find it comfortable enough.
  7. You have several methods of saving data in MMF2. For small amounts of data, .ini files (encryption optional) are more than enough. If you manage more data, then an array would be better suited. The logic behind this works as follows: INI files have groups and items on them. A group can contain several items inside. With the ini object, what you want to do is write the frame of the level you're in (use get frame number expression) to an item, e.g. CurrentFrame. This item can be set as part of the SaveData group, along with lives and other variables. Finally, you write the file to disk. The following expression will save the file inside a "save" folder in the game's directory: appdrive$+appdir$+"\save\data.savTo load data, load the file through the ini object when the frame starts, and check if the saved value is different than 0. If it's not 0, then jump to the specified frame according to the file. If the value is 0 (or nonexistent), then proceed with a new game. I think I had an example of this method lying around somewhere. I'll look for it and post back later.
  8. See if the event list editor suits you better. Since it shows all events in a list, it's way better than hovering the little checks every time you want to see an action. Once the wiki is up, we can assemble a team that can document specific parts of Worlds. Several members could provide a lot of insight through their own experiences, adding up to the Worlds community spirit.
  9. The playable intro sounds nice, but I think you should drop the titlecard and HUD elements from it. Otherwise, I interpret it as the first level. You could have a variable that checks if it's the first time running, so you play out the intro. If the value is not 0, then skip the intro, but make it so that it comes up again if the title screen is left hanging for some time.
  10. Yeah, about that... When we merged our pinned topics became regular ones. I'll pin 'em back.
  11. @Gear: Atlus only published Odin Sphere. The developer is the rather lesser known Vanillaware. Other Vanillaware titles are Princess Crown (DC, JP only), GrimGrimoire (PS2), Muramasa (Wii/Vita) and Dragon's Crown (PS3/Vita). Since you liked OS, you might want to check out Muramasa. Ultimax isn't really a new fighting game. It's more like a Street Fighter 2 case (new characters, mechanics, etc). So yeah, it'd mean shelling out more, and it will likely be the second PS3 game to have region lock. The other titles don't really interest me. P5 hype all the way. I find your comment about the Japanese loving the same thing over again rather funny. It's not just them *cough*Halo*cough*CoD*cough*EA*cough* Anyway, Atlus mostly works with turn based RPGs. Arc System Works took care of the fighting game, which was a great move. So don't expect something like Bioshock out from them. They stick to what works, which for the time being is Persona.
  12. Whoa, neat. With Pier Solar out for the MD, and now this... Feels good to see the Sega consoles getting some love even today. So, is it turn based? Also, what kind of code name is "Audacious Cuntwhisp"? *runs*
  13. Odd. I was expecting the connection to fail because of a loopback setting or something along those lines. Clickteam works fine for me, and I doubt your ISP could be blocking it. I know that the MMF2 initial installation checks with CT servers, but updates and bonus packs rely on hardcoded blacklists, as far as I know. Therefore, I don't think your issue could be related to your inability to connect to Clickteam. I'd say to contact CT support, but since you can't access it, it might be a bit of a problem. Any other computer or connection available for your use might help.
  14. Looks awesome. I'm getting a bit of a Pulseman vibe here, especially since its original working title was Spark. Too bad Game Freak only works on Pokemon over and over again nowadays... Any estimates on a date for a quick playable gameplay demo?
  15. Just a hunch here... Head to C:\Windows\system32\etc\drivers and look in the "hosts" text file (open it in notepad). Is clickteam.com in the list there?
  16. Why are you overcomplicating things? Buying another copy would be a waste. Let's go over again. First of all, update your MMF2 to the latest build (if it updates OK, then the BP should work). Then, run the bonus pack. If it still doesn't want to recognize your installation, then something must be wrong in the system/MMF2 installation, or the serial number is blacklisted.
  17. If you say you have a legit copy, then the problem may be because you're using a CF2.5 bonus pack on MMF2, or a MMF2 bonus pack on CF2.5. Make sure you got the right one, MMF2 and CF2.5 are considered separate products.
  18. Ugh, that problem with the PMs again. I'll see if I can bump up the limit a bit more later.
  19. Green Egg Hillopolis Fortress Base Babylon Palace Mystic Garden Alliterative Attempts: Tidal Train Twinkle Tempest Final Fleet Gadget Garden 100% original do not steel plz *runs*
  20. Hm, I don't have it on my dump of the package either. Someone might, though - keep an eye out (subscribe to this thread).
  21. Glad you went with this ending, ila. I think the climbing intro sequence would be perfect for a MGS1-style in-game credits roll, just have text fade in as Evil climbs his way to the emerald. It would add considerable amounts of awesome. Now I'll go play the other two once again.
  22. So, all four titles: Persona Dancing All Night for Vita (eh...) Persona Q for 3DS (okay...) Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold for PS360 (yay!) and Persona 5 for PS3 (in 2015) ...are all confirmed for NA releases! Rejoice. Come on ila, time to Dance All Night. See, people? Sega did not fuck this up... Atlus is still alive and kicking.
  23. ...Flappy... Jam? Goddammit, no way. It's not just fangames, every freaking app publisher wants a clone, and now that the original is gone it's the big chance.
  24. Adding up on the breach, the access is apparently limited to usernames, emails and hashed passwords, not credit card info. With enough power, they could theoretically break the hashed passwords, so hopefully you don't use the same password on every site... If you do, have fun changing passwords everywhere.
