  1. There must be another event that is set to "restart current frame" instead of "go to frame (StageClear)". In the event editor, click the Storyboard (chess icon) object to filter all frame managing events, and find said event in order to replace it.
  2. Thankfully we got some mirrors up. I also have local copies of the files myself. Let this be a lesson for everyone: MAKE BACKUPS.
  3. Regardless of how effective E02 is (personally I like it but never thought about using it), if Stardust wants this to be his project, let him do it. Just because there's a similar program, it doesn't mean you should kill your project. If that was the case, the application market would be severely depressing.
  4. OK, enough of that. We don't have a specific standard (hell, I hate those forums with 150x45 OR ELSE type limitations), but there's a point where images just become so big that it's not worth because of scrolling and loading issues. Lev, the images are pretty readable even when shrunk. You might want to get paper with slightly brighter grids though, because it tends to blend it too much.
  5. Get an extra gig of RAM to hold up. However, I heavily recommend you to abandon XP ASAP. (Unless you will disconnect that system from the internet permanently.)
  6. Persona 4 the Golden the Animation. WAT

Here's hoping it isn't as bad as the first anime.

It's pretty much the same staff from before, so... expect QUALITY.

Oh, and that ridiculously big shirt collar.

  7. SILVER GEAR!? sorry, I had to I'm liking that title screen graphic. I suppose the pickups are placeholders, right? Rupees and Heart Containers just don't look good there. Since this is cybernetic, you should use something akin to "power units" or whatever instead of hearts. The HUD needs a bit of work. The weapon indicator is confusing me. From what I can see in the platforms, we have a regular platformer here. What kind of mechanics do you have in mind for the "Cybernetic Platforming" aspect? Bionic Commando has the grapple, Ristar can grab things, Rocket Knight has his jetpack - you get the gist. I suppose something connected to the Magu energy could work.
  8. I agree, the sky looks odd in the middle of that shot. To easily fix it, grab your sky background and run a dithering/pixelate filter over it. If you don't have an image editor with said features, use Paint.NET.
  9. Then it should be fine. I have the extension as well. Speaking of extensions, I'm so glad that CF2.5 introduces the manager, because it's a pain to get them otherwise, since the old FusionUpdater program isn't working anymore. There is a wiki with a list of pretty much all of the extensions, including their presence (or not) in a BP. Via that info, we should prioritize the Worlds extensions and get 'em up. I'll sort this out once I finish tuning up a certain something I've been working on...
  10. Reminds me of the Resident Evil 2 William G form... but with a prehensile tongue! Looks awesome.
  11. How come? It's not in a bonus pack? If so, we should mirror it somewhere.
  12. Oh my god. The pristine condition of the pages... with a screenshot of Sonic Mega Quest in the rules area... This is awesome. I feel like I'm in the past decade all over again. <3 A time with no shitty facebook, no shitty twitter or instagram crap... all long gone :[
  13. And despite all of that "no DOS in windoze guys!" stuff, you still can't create a CON folder in Windows... it already is an onion of bizzare code. Unless you use the obscure cmd network path trick, creating a directory that works completely fine for most new applications, but obviously doesn't in old DOS ones. Also handy to immunize flashdrives! (just create an autorun.inf folder containing the offending folders CON, COM1, PRN and whatever, so that viruses can't replace it that easily!) And that's that... So yeah, go find a 32 bit windows version or just get TGF/MFX. Since KnP games are all open (no protection, whoohoo), we should just rebuild them on MMF for improved compatibility. MMF2.0 is the highest I think we should use, since CF2.5 nukes all compatibility, except for XP SP3.
  14. Man, your MMF2 installation must have the record of "most screwed up" at this point. I think a clean slate might really help with this. Nuke all of it, install from scratch and try one more time?
  15. Pftttt-ahahahahahahah. Makes me glad that back then, I had no chance of getting a PS3/360 at the prices back then, so I didn't even have to look at said game. I enjoyed Colours a lot, especially because it toned down on the EDGEhog and the MATURE shit. I also enjoyed Madworld's silliness, courtesy of the same people. Adventure 1 was okay enough, 2 marked the start of the EDGEhog, but nothing compares to 06. I just want a fun game with good level design and well made bosses. I don't need cutscenes - if the game progresses by Act1-Act2-Boss-Act1 I'll be happy. Colours nailed it when as soon as you pressed A on the title screen, you get thrown right into the game. That's what I want again. On a side note, the Advance titles were great as well - no long cutscenes, just levels and more levels. 3 even managed to add Sonic & Eggman cooperating against the true final boss (classic super sonic in space, etc etc), which I thought was pretty cool back then. It also felt nice seeing Emerl again after Battle.
  16. One Girl Army, the best beat'em up, courtesy of the one that could make the impossible with MMF - Clwe. Sonic Time Attacked, modern-ish platformer with original levels and cutscenes by the Sausage Roll Master - Jamie Bailey. Both are complete. Grab 'em on the old SFGHQ site.
  17. Oh yeah, I remember that the Sphax objects (including params) break because of the updates. Make sure you got the latest versions of the Sphax extensions. You might need to run the control setup at least once so that it can save your config.
  18. Klik and Play executables are 16-bit, I think. If you want to play them, use a 32-bit windows 7 installation. Also, make sure you have the KnP DLL files, they're KNP<something>.dll, if I remember correctly. Moving thread to fangame assistance.
  19. Alright, that was fun. Default theme is set back to United. You can keep pink if you wish, though (use the selector at the bottom of the page).

Yeah, I'll tune up the broken parts of the theme once I figure out a comfortable monitor setup.

      That was wonderful.

  20. Damn. Laptop screen inverter is sparking - had to disconnect it and use an external monitor. Feels weird...
