  6. Hope you enjoyed the gap peeps, cause I sure as hell am beating myself up for it. But anywho, here goes another day of animu: Day 2: Today was a day our mother could drop us off, but with her working all week, we had to wait till she was woken up, and ready to give a sh**. (That was a joke.) So its about 1 or 1:30 in the afternoon and the first place me and Aero (who was with me this time) go was the Exhibit Hall. This time we were stocked up on cash to actually buy something, but once again, us being the picky bastards that we are we didn't get anything for about the first half of the day. However, we did both have an awesome time playing at the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom booth, which I have to say is pretty damn fun. And wouldn't you know it, the bitch that went without a new game sprite for about 10 f**kin years is about the best character in the game! Middle finger! About everyone there picked Karas while I messed around with Eagle Ken, Ryu, Rockman Volnutt, Yatterman, Batsu, Viewtiful Joe and Inpatsuman. Yatterman is damn good fun if I so say so, however his supers are slow. (Except one that I won with everytime it connected, which looks BROKEN!) We walked for a couple booths... and then I lost my brother. It wasn't anything new so I looked for about 3 seconds and went on to look at other stuff. Once we got together again, he had tagged along with a friend of his from school and from there we found a booth that had games where I bought .Hack//G.U Vol. 2 Reminisce. I tried to get Pokemon Platinum but they were sold out. Next I found Dave from Snafu comics, and then we all bailed, but not before I got a vanilla/chocolate swirl from an ice cream stand. Wandering was what we did for a while until we stumbled accidently onto the motherload: A Gaming Arcade that had ports everywhere. Games I had never seen before and fighting games galore. I watched and played, getting my ass kicked by pros. (it seriously was a feeling of not belonging with how much ass that hit the floor in these games.) Then... the impossible happened. Someone actually won in Stackers: a timed stacking block game that was near impossible to win once you got to the very top. They bait you with a minor prize, which are honestly the epitomy of sh** compared to the major prizes. And once you reach the last block to stack, you get screwed no matter what, but someone actually won. Yes, I know its rigid, but it was a nice sight to actually see someone win in that game. A blue DSi if I remember. My legs hurt like hell from standing up and watching all of the awesomeness and pwnage, so we bailed from there after we lost my bro's friend to the theatre. Death Note 1 & 2 was supposed to play, but to all the fangirl's dismay, it was canceled. Instead, me and Aero saw a heartwarming movie called Cyborg Girl and had a good laugh there. After the teary eye ending, we were about to call it a day and go home as we wanted... but once again, we find my cousin sitting in the hall. I proceeded to choke him. With a change of plans, we head over to the Petree Hall to see a panel called Whose Line is it Anime? It was pretty entertaining to say the least. However I was starting to get tired, so we officially called it a day.
  7. Since I'm taking his throne does that make me awesome? o.o
  8. This is pretty neat They've already surpassed their game goal for the hour, waaay surpassed. They're currently playing Sunshine.
  9. Curse all of you mac users!
  10. I am sooooo lazy. I've been meaning to make a thread about this since the day I came back, but meh, I'm here now and I'm gonna do it now, so lets get started on the 4 days of fun: Day 1: Aero was busy working and I went solo for a big chunk of the day. This day was basically for browsing. (Which in the end I massively regretted.) I first walked into a panel which featured a woman named Kouga. Before I could realize that I was in no-mans land it was too late. This panel was for a doujin manga artist. A Yaoi Doujin Manga Artist. I sat through it, and got some informative answers from the artist who was asked by Otaku's and screaming yaoi fangirls, and I think one was a guy... I could've left at any time, but there were four girls sitting at the end where I was, and I think one was annoyed by me even being there. I didn't wanna seem rude, so i stayed. Also I had nowhere else to go... or so I thought. After that was over, I walked around for at least an hour and a half looking at the many Cosplayers and exhibits, and spent the biggest chunk of my day in the Exhibit Hall. I saw nothing there that I currently wanted or could afford, so I bailed, but not before a guy pointed me in the direction of Kyle Hebert. I got his autograph and had a nice tiny chat with him. When I stepped out and down the stairs, exhausted, I checked the schedule on what was going on, which I did in the morning but didn't mind anything at the time. I saw that AX Idol was going on, (A singing and Voice Acting competition) and the voice acting auditions were going on when I laid eyes on it. I scrambled to find the room and once I got there it was too late, waaaaay too late. Sign ups were 10 am and it was 4:15. I screwed up big time and was bummed the entire time I was sitting there. I eventually got over it and watched lots of potential young, and even old, voice actors who tried out. As well as cringing at those who seemed like they didn't even try... In the end, I went back to the exhibit hall to see what I could afford, again. Actually, the real reason I went was because I wanted to catch Kyle again, to see if I could show him that I'm an aspiring voice actor. He was gone, however a woman named Philece_Sampler had taken his place. She was very nice and pretty optimistic about me trying out VA in the future, she even wished me luck in her autograph. She proceeded to tell me about the Bang Zoom Workshop that was about to start in about 30 mintues, so I hustled over there to check it out. When I reached there, of course, there was a long line and I waited until the doors opened, and then someone tells me the ticket I got from the booth, could've got me in even sooner... yeah. It was nice, and Philece Sampler happened to be the host of the workshop. She showed us a demo tape of what anime she was in as well as told us what one needed to do to be a voice actor (Which is the point of the workshop.) I was near the back and off to the side, but I could see plenty. When we got down to the good stuff, I was expecting to be picked to try out some voice work, but nay, I was not. Curse you Philece for making me think I was special! ... nah it was cool. Oh, did I mention Aero called me like 47 times during the workshop? Anyways, I found out my brother had found my cousin in the screening of the Gurren Lagann Movie. From there, me and him went home early. AX Idol will be around next year, so I'm not worried. Next year I'll be more prepared.
  11. The Grim Reaper must be racking in so much dough right now...
  12. What you just said, is the exact equivalent to a kick in the nuts.
  13. 5 famous people dead in one month. Unf**kin' believable...
  14. Fixed for the greater good and for respect.

  16. Its like the evolution of a fat kid in school. You see him everyday when he's a kid, lounging around and eating chili dogs, taking all the fat jokes and insults. Then all of a sudden he wises up and starts to exercise, and embrace his true calling: Running fast. Getting all the babes in the process... but then he takes it too far, now its all he can think about and its all the people know him for. That fat kid you once knew and loved to make fun of is gone, and this guy is in his place.
  17. I would jump in, but I'm occupying the bunker before Gunslinger Slingerland comes 'round yonder.
  18. The thread name makes me LOL. Anyways, another racing game huh? Its funny how people complain about Sonic not needing a Hover Board or a kart. They forget that Sonic also "likes a challenge" so he has no problem with vehicles. The guy can drive a plane for pete's sake. So stop with that nonsense. I feel as though this is just gonna be another quick fix game like superstars tennis and will go away into obscurity.
  19. 3... They're teasing us cause this could easily be all the pizza cats, but I know its not. Still makes me wonder though...
  20. You lost me at archie comic. Plus making a thread on "How I can make a better sonic game" will get a bit of negative feedback, fluff comments and... Epon. But I see you've already experienced it, so carry on. I'll say this: The archie comics will take from the games, not the other way around, ever. Dark chronicles was the closest that factor is ever gonna get.
  21. Guess I'm the only one who likes the old Animu. I'm excited to play as Viewtiful Joe, or Eagle Ken.
