You're more dull-headed than I thought. There's a huge difference between Japanese cartoons and fan-made games. I wouldn't even know how to start comparing them, unless someone made some kind of fan game based off a show. Pheonix Gamma, I'd be very surprised if you didn't know Sonic orignally started as a video game, then later became a cartoon. Fangames, like real video games, take a lot of dedication and hard work, or it won't be any good. Unlike anime, which is crappy drawn animation, I mean, wtf is this? I won't lie, some of them are drawn well. But instead of hatin' on the art of it, the real problem with it is the voice acting. What is it, females playing the roles of every character in the story or something? Speaking of stories... Do they even have any? I mean decent stories, not 5 minute planned out ones. Think Pokemon, every episode the same thing (don't call me a hypocrit again, last time I watched this was about 7-8 years ago. Does this show still even exist?). Oh no! Bad guys are trying to take Pikachu away! OMG they got him! Then OMG, 5 minutes later he's safe!(By the way, that's an example). Atleast Pokemon's stories make sense, there's other stuff which I got stuck watching in January in my art class, I think it was called Howl's Moving Castle or something. That shit didn't even make sense, so I just did something productive and played Halo over the school's local network with some friends. Story developers need to take more time on this stuff. Something that maybe would make people want to go back and watch it again, like Halo's story line, since that became on the subject. But thank God that's not a cartoon. I see no hypocrisy in my earlier post. Anyway, PG, I find it kind of funny how you're trying to impress your fellow forum members by mocking me. A bit immature, don't you think? I agree with UT04 being the better game to mod. It is possible they didn't switch because of this.

The single player demo is already done, so why would they be joking about it? Besides, they didn't say this, but Halo's engine has a lot of limitations as far as trying to add stuff from Sonic into it. SonicXtreme, the lead developer of the mod, is probably getting stressed about how to get things done in the engine which just aren't possible.

Okay, like I said a long time ago when I first posted this in the screenshot section, I am doing this game for a school project. I put as much into it as I can in the limited time I had to create it. I wish I was able to do a poll for this because I need some way of getting a grade for it. My teacher recommended something similar to this, so I ask you all a favor to rate it from 1-5, thanks. Oh by the way, there is no sound or music in the game so don't rate anything bad because of that. One more thing, you cannot die so don't try to lol. But the bad guys die. Keys are, arrow keys to move, shift is jump, ctrl is throw ninja star and Z is this weird teleport thing(kinda like a checkpoint, press jump to go back to it). (Those .dll files for typical clickteam games are not included in the zip, let me know if thats a problem)

I guess I can post a video of it. The sprites can still be replaced. I duno yet. I worked hard on them . Oh it was made with Damizean's 360 movement engine. Plays similar to Sonic. Making it as an art project lol that helicoptor took me 2 classes to sprite and animate. That's roughly 170 minutes. Enemy has a gun. Crawl on cielings. Sonic style of course. The first act is actually pretty long, takes about 2 minutes to complete with multiple routes. Second act is more about graphical effects, a bit easier to beat. The next level I am planning on making a destroyed-city like level. Anyway, I may release it soon for criticization (is that a word?). I'm planning on getting an A on the project lol.

But I think mac owners should start worrying, Apple is bragging about the no virus ____, probbaly pisses hackers off, so they might start hacking the mac. Btw I should probably include, my brother has a intel mac with Windows XP installed, we installed same programs on both. Like halo pc, and halo mac, ran better in windows, go figure. MS Office for mac, and in windows. Windows wins again. And finnally the photoshop trial. Windows . You're probbaly going to say its the developers problem. I dunno, might be true.

Sigh. Why does everyone hate vista so much? Its just an operating system, I had rc1 for a while, but decided it was kinda pointless having dual boot xp and vista. RC1 had no open gl support so I just decided to stick with xp for now. Plus, I simply hate anyone who stands up for a mac.
