So, people stole sprites from a fan game called Sonic vs. LF2. The owner of the game peacefully called them out on his YouTube channel, only to be bitched at and made infamous. I dunno too much about sprites (I've made some in the past), but which side is more unethical? *If you find this too contraversal, just scroll past it . I'm just curious to hear opinions from other people.

I am in the middle on this. I do believe that coping sprites from a game without the owners permission is bad... but to make the game unplayable because of it and still show updates. That is going too far.

There's nothing more cool than creating fan games, but if you steal sprites without the owners permission,that's no good.

Stealing the sprites, while bad, is to be "expected". It shouldn't happen but calling them out and practically cancelling the game is kinda silly imo. The sprites are stolen but to cancel the game makes the creator seem kinda.. eh.. i don't know
