  1. Excuse me but...what? Badniks are a REALLY important part of level design, theyre not just for using them for your advantage, theyre also where the challenge comes from, and where the reactions of the player will come from. for the most part; remove the badniks out of ANY zone in ANY sonic game, and the stages get marginally boring, stale, long and drawn out stages, thats the purpose of badniks, to help make your levels be more interesting, and to an extent, more alive. Disregarding enemies in a sonic game is...well..stupid.

Badniks are /not/ something you place willy-nilly wherever you feel like, you have to really think if their placement works with the level desgin, how the player would react to them, how the level design needs to be adjusted with them, etcetera. Badniks /are/ a central part of level design.

  2. I woudlnt call that a good idea, as gimmicks and Enemies are an important part of the level design, and their implementation should affect your level design. Enemies and gimmicks should be made /with/ the level design, not afterwards, otherwise their placement would make no sense and feel intrusive to the level youve already created. Its a bit late of a response to this, but ive just now noticed it so eh.

  3. Havent seen one of these, so here we go.

Youve probably had that one game youve played and gone "this game is awesome! cant wait to see what people think of it" only to realize the game didnt do well and nobody played it aside from you, or that game you didnt know even existed that has had no coverage up untill the moment you played it, and still wonder why it didnt get more attention even though you /know/ people had to try it.

This is a thread to share those games you /know/ deserve better, but for some reason they just didnt do well.

    Rules:
This is not a "Favourite game of all time" or "worst game ive played" topic, but a thread to post games you really liked, but nobody either heard, or liked.

The game MUST be obscure, or rated badly to an extent.

Reccomended you avoid sonic games to keep it creative, but feel free to post any if you want.

    Without further ado; i'll begin:

Im amazed this game didnt get more attention or recognition; this game looks amazing, is pretty damn fun and isnt all that expensive, only around $20-25, and its pretty fun and creative to boot.

It has an interesting theatre/hand crafted style to it, with everything being narrated, and though at points the voices /might/ be anoying, the game is filled with charm, and memorable characters; and i overlook the voice anoyances i might have. I reccomend this to /any/ fan of platformers, its really worth getting. Shame is Ps3 Exclusive too.

  4. Now that i played the game myself i can say that...this game doesnt do a good job of being very..fun or memorable. All the levels feel very cookie-cutter, with some aesthetic changes that dont mean much. The gimmicks and character moveset are straight copies of freedom planet(like the gems in the temple level are straight out of battle glacier, even some of the layout of them is similar). The game also has an overall lack of polish, i found myself getting stuck in slopes all the time or just stopping for no real reason.

  5. then she is really being stubborn. Even if you skip out on night 6, the paycheck at night 5 still states 1987, and the phone guy still mentions many interesting bits of trivia. Theres also the fact that when the pizzaria was being renovated, it was first called the "fazbear family diner", not freddy fazbears pizzeria like it is in the seccond and first games. And there is absoluetely no reason to release /two/ fnaf 2's, and this is most likely the last one as well.

  6. You might wanna put that in a spoiler box, game is not even a week old.

Its pretty much confirmed. pre-bite1987, phone guy is alive, new animatronics get scrapped and states the restaurant will be revived with a smaller budget, and with the entire animatronics are hostile to staff, its safe to believe the night guard was the victim of the bite. Theres no real room for argument.

  7. You also cant neglect to mention the huge amount of speculatory material and info thats just barely enough to allow you to reach your own conclusions to what the story really is, its really good at making you think.

THeres dozzens of theories to what really happened and is happening, takes a lot of effort to make that work.

  8. Considering the new five nights at freddy's 2 trailer came out, i thought it was a good idea to start a discussion to see what people in this forrum think of this game, overrated boring piece of shit, or extremely clever horror game?

In my opinion, i love it for the $5 dollars that it's worth, its also pretty much the most enjoyable horror game ive played in years, with so much to speculate on and think about, i think its a great mixture of horror and strategy, and im really looking forward to the new game, the trailer has me hyped. But hey thats my opinion.

what's you guy's opinion on this new Game and its upcoming sequel?

Edit:(trailer to game and its sequel sequel seen bellow:)

  9. Mine would have to be, well..

2d:having a hard time choosing one, but gonna have to go with sky sanctuary purely on an aesthetic viewpoint, i love how this level looks.

3d: defenitively tropical resort, whats not to love about a tropical level in SPACE? without a doubt my favourite first level in the series.

Spinoff: gonna have to choose levitated ruin, i really love this level aesthetically, musically, and its one of the few levels in secret rings that doesnt play like absolute shit.

  10. your mom

Have to agree with mine being eggman too, no matter the game, hes always a joy to listen to, even if you think lost world is the most absolute worst thing in the history of ever, you cant deny eggman's dialogue was great in that game⋅⋅⋅ᵗʰᵉʳᵉˢ ᵃᶫʷᵃʸˢ ᵉᵛᶦᶫ ʰᵃᵐ ᵗᵒᵒ⋅⋅
