  1. Weird. That's how I got it. I thought. Did you:
  2. lolyes, that Technology Tree one annoyed me too. Cyan City is pretty easy to find: Parhelion just requires spin jumping off a lot of ledges till you find it. I'd advise using Tails to fly around for it. Storm Station is... surprisingly obvious however, it was the one I found hardest to find: (inb4 people complain about spoilers despite the tags)
  3. FAN CHARACTERS WTF WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS LAKE I HATE YOU SO MUCH AND- waitno, that doesn't bother me. Schweeeeeeet.
  4. QUESTION FOR MUSIC TEAM PEOPLE: In the beta, there was an alternate version of Wolf Rayet that had the 'Welcome to Die!' bit in it. What happened to that and CAN WE HAVE IT PLZ? (I really like the tune in that cutscene, it's ominous and works for a boss fight... surprised you removed it! I would've fit the final boss, I think...)
  5. lawl, it took me a while to get debug mode.
  6. Huh... that would suggest something is stopping it from writing. All I can think, is to try specifically opening the program 'as Administrator' (if you're on Windows), or (temporarily, for testing purposes) disable whatever security software you have. Either that, or you did what I almost did, and keep going for 'New Game' by accident, lawl. The default option when you load up, is 'New Game' which modern games don't do much, so it threw me and I just insta-hit enter. If it's not that, then you can try extracting the game to a different file and testing it there, to make sure it isn't just a rare glitch that has appeared in your save file... otherwise, I have no idea. Your actual PC specs are similar to mine and the only one of them that would really make any difference at a reading/writing level error, would be the OS which is the same as me (Windows 8), since none of the other things you listed play any part in the actual reading/writing instruction creation or translation (at a high-level, anyway. If it's assembly level(very unlikely) then: You're fucked!). I still put my money on something stopping it from writing though. Either the admin thing or a Security program not allowing the program to write (although running as Admin SHOULD bypass that...).
  7. Ohey. I didn't notice that flash. Sweet.
  8. lawl, I thought it was just a very random time transition. As in: It's a 'snowflake of sugar(wat)' and the zoom effect was just... an effect which faded in to a later point in time, in which they had arrived at Cyan City.
  9. Wait, shit, you're right. My bad. I was thinking of one of the song soundcloud pictures, lawl...
  10. I think the original picture of it was stationed in Sugar Splash but I dunno which Act. I can't be bothered to look for something he might've moved though. I'll leave it to you guys. Wish we had a thread for finding and logging this crap, so we didn't have to annoy everyone else...
  11. The game generally saves at the start of a level, in ATSave.bin. Make sure that's present after playing at least one level, and isn't being killed by any anti-virus crap (dunno why it would but meh...).
  12. Yeah um... that's the secret I said about that I wasn't going to tell anyone but you kinda killed it. lawl... >tfw a fan game can create speculation Well played, Lake...
  13. If it's free: Then yes. If you paid for either of those, then you are paying for a certain quality of service. Paying a lot of money for food that is meant to be 'fancy' but comes out bad, gives you the right to complain about the quality because you were on the bad end of an unfair exchange. But ATS is free so what you say applies here, lawl.
  14. This is the Sonic fandom. Being stupidly pissed off by a creative concept is normal. Expect lots of ragey feedback from those with different* minds.
  15. >someone has an opinion >"Let's start a fight" >internet logic
  16. I suspect that if you copy the ATSave.bin file across to the folder with the new .exe, it'll use that instead.
  17. Hey guys, just doing my rounds on here after having been distracted by the horrors of reality. You've all been awfully quiet. Wha' you doin'?
  18. HOW GOES THE BATTLE, MEN? (Translation: How's it going in here? I haven't checked up on you guys in a while)
  19. I forget what I posted but I think I was probably referring to the special acts, as opposed to special stages. Special stages are the same as they were in Sonic 1 (at least they were in the beta I played...). Sorry if I confused you!
  20. I believe they look worse due to the shitty resolution of the original PSP. Graphically, they're slightly more powerful than the PS2, especially the later PSP versions which had a 64Mb memory as opposed to the PS2's 32Mb, and the PSP had a 333Mhz CPU against the PS2's 300Mhz. It's not much of a difference but it's still a difference. However, yeah. You can't fit as much content on to a UMD as you can to a DVD so the feature count would go down (unless your game structuring skills suddenly became God-like). But this wouldn't affect the graphics. A last resort for porting to a smaller media format would be to decrease the model data for objects which would cause a loss in graphical quality but this would only appear in REALLY BIG games, which I assume is the case for P3 -> P3P but I've never played either of them so loliduno. This would be... rare though, since a change in the size of that data would be rather unnoticeable, unless you MASSIVELY decreased the polygon count. But in the end, I still think PSP looks worse but as I said... this is a resolution problem, technically.
