If DirectX has the same power and simplicity of OpenGL, then I don't know why DirectX seems SO COMPLICATED to me.

DirectX is generally considered more simple since it has less redundant methods to do simple actions and has much more support. OpenGL is also based on a mislead standard they set years ago. (However I'm still an OpenGL fan because cross-platform yeeeeah!)

There's Ogre3D for C++ that they tend to advertise as an 'engine' but not in the traditional user interface style. It's just some very extensive libraries. http://www.ogre3d.org/

I just turned my PC on for the 2nd time today,and got a "Missing Sysytem32 directory" message,the desktop was all black with only the recycle bin there.Reseted the PC and it's working just fine now.Is this something to worry about?

Sounds like it might've just been a one off start up glitch. It's rare but a slight slip of the HDD's reader arm could cause it.
I'd do a virus scan, just to be sure but if it's working now, I doubt it's a virus. The glitch may have just been a one off or it might be a result of excessive corrupt sectors on it.
The corruption thing tends to happen as a harddrive ages and the process can be sped up if your PC is shut down incorrectly a lot (as in, just...

I wish we had a blog section on this site because It would be great to upload my "Sonic '06 Detective" entries.

The problem with a topic on it is that it's forced in to people's view. E.g. every update will force people to see it as the top topic when no one cares. Also causes posts to be cut up by other's posts.
With a blog, only people who want to see it, will go to it (so it doesn't clog up the board) AND there's no junk in between blog posts.
It's just a different form of update. In the same way I don't put my status updates in their own topic.
