  1. wanna know whats super annoying, when i tried to press right i accedently clicked 0 and it restart my game.grr
  2. in all technicality couldnt you just make 2 parents (one with a parent of objhigh and one with parent of objlow) for the grind rail and if your on the rail every step just multply the x_speed/hsp by something like 1.02 or so and let the existing engine do all the angling and positioning along with the rail

  5. animation_direction is supposed to be xdir secondly you could clump this togather by just multiplying hsp by a negative number

  7. i like the idea, if you want it to look really cool, animate it to look like it come up from the ground and goes back down. it would look good if it were about 6 frames long
  8. i think you would need to replace vx and vy with hsp and vsp

  10. i can code what ever you throw at me. Its just the fun rating on a maze or pinball game sucks
  11. right but maybe theres a special stage that some one wanted to put in there game, but cant code it, and trashed the idea.
  12. I cant seem to come up with a really good special stage. My ideas so far are maybe.. Pinball maze neither one seems like it would be very fun to play. Do any of you have any ideas?

  14. im just not very good at the rounding deal, i have tried, ill tell ya, i spent a day and a half on it. it doesnt want to work. if it was just a scroll, i could do that, its that little curve at the ends that doesnt work out too well. i was only asking for help with a sprite, not for someone to make my game for me Below is a double post that has been automagically merged into the original. although, now that i think about it, i could just use my old 3d modeling program and make a pseudo 2d torus sorry for the trouble please try to forgive me
  15. i donno, but couldnt all the stuff youve mentioned easly be done in GM? dont want to make you feel bad or anything, but everything youve stated i have done in gamemaker
  16. look he started it. i could care less if he uses slang. my point was his rudeness. I already told you I dont know how to spell correctly. Quite frankly English was not my best course. Anyway, I just needed a spinning torus (for those who dont know what a torus is)It should use this sort of style the rest is up to the author
  17. I think you mean "YOU might WANT TO learn how to spell before asking." You on the other hand might need to learn to use grammer correctly before trying to criticize me. Look, I'm a coder, and a very gifted one at that. I admit, my spelling has its flaws, but using a post just to say that without even posting any help at all was just a waste.
  18. would it be possible for some one to sprite a 512x64 spinning torus, in mostly shades of black with a gausoned gold line next to a black line spliting each section. The sections should be approx 32 units apart. move it around 2 pixles at a time thus only 16 frames will be needed. do not forget to curve it as it goes around the edges. also could you tilt it so that, at its pinnical, you can see about 8 pixels of the back of it above the foreground portion.
