  1. Well of course just checking the X & Y coord's range works, but if I have another target; lets just say its on the other side of the level, then because this object isn't in range of Sonic, his homing attack will not initiate!

    Well couldn't you use the events for X positive and make them negative for the other direction so that if the target was 3 ahead of Sonic OR 3 behind Sonic, he could use his homing attack? Something like that?

    1. Controls are reversed to simulate flight of a plane. I plan to do something better with it in the form of using the mouse as an option. Maybe even something as simple as allowing the player to customize whether the controls are reversed or not.

    3. I can understand where you're coming from and like the idea, I will likely use it.

    4. You weren't left defenseless, there's missile capsules throughout the level. Maybe the vulcan gun can have infinite ammo? The missiles definitely will be limited.

    This is old material from a game that some of you may remember, most of you will not. This game was started all the way back to 2004, in its earliest form it was actually 2002.

    The web archive makes things easy for me, an old page from my old site will provide you with information about the game such as the story, controls and credits.

    When you play this incomplete demo, I want you to keep track of all the design flaws that you can so that I may take note of them if I decide to revive the project. If at all possible maybe even reply with the length of a review. I would greatly appreciate it.

    I have already noted some of my own.

    • Graphics need work.
    • Tails' plane needs to move faster.
    • The level design is awful with enemy placement and such.
    • That boss has a horrible design.
    • Needs original backgrounds.

    Also, should the plane have separate hit points or should I continue to deplete the gas tank for "health"?

  4. Thanks for trying but this is the oldest build that I had already found. The one I need has custom graphics and such from 2004 with a much better engine that I had done and had no open source. It had an boss at the end of the level that wasn't colored in or anything. Rep up anyway.

    EDIT: NEVERMIND! Thanks to someone on MFGG I got it! :)

  6. Yeah I understand what you're getting at, sorry you had been screwed previously. By the way, I kinda wish these sorts of companies would just get to the point on the pricing or maybe I should read a little clearer.

    I hate the free after rebate crap. Lol. But I guess that is about as cheap as you're going to get for what I want to do.

  7. Hey, thanks for linking me to that, but for specifics on my PC I decided to use the live support- chat feature. I am speaking with a specialist now, no info yet. I didn't know they had such a feature! That's pretty neat. If only I had thought of checking for that beforehand.

    EDIT: Well that guy didn't really help much. He had me clear my CMOS. However, I really had to find jumper E49 on my system board and move it from Pin 1 and 2 to just Pin 2 to disable the power-on password. Thank you DW for your help, I appreciate it.
