Hello guys, Currently I'm trying to make a zooming view with rotating events in 2d, like Sonic Nebulous from Ironrind, but I can't keep the hud in fixed size, that uses to shrink/grow with the zooming view. How I can solve this? I searched for this in gm forums but every working script were just made to various instances in a same room (like Super Smash Bros), and most of them don't work properly. Please!

  5. man, i'm almost beating this game, but there's only 1 emerald remaining. I remember that those last 6 emerald I think I found in action fields. How many emeralds there are in each action field, im exploring deeply the action fields for the last emerald to acess the final stage. Also the gameplay is very smooth, even the levels seems a little blocky, but that's ok for this kind of game i mean. The space level is pretty hard! Although i passed that level!
  6. Sorry for the double posting... i've just found them: The Mud Forest theme is somehow called "Tarzan Theme", I found that in this site, thanks to a Duckboy's CNC lib. I will try to remix the first one to make that close to Chaomega's level music. Thanks, I think you can lock this.

  10. Good engine, but I've just noticed that the checkpoint does not save the time. When you die and restarts at the last checkpoint, the time starts over.

  13. Split? Unmovable? what's going on? I didn't notice this problem on standard monitors so far... Have you tried to change resolution to fullscreen at the options menu?

After many years of useless working and a fail to implement the wordpress in the brazilian official site (http://brazsonic.bcsilva.com/ this doesn't work anymore due to a wordpress glitch that I can't fix), I decided to cancel the project. I didn't got so many helpers and this project couldn't have future. Thanks for all the expectatives.
  18. These graphic effects (motion blurring in 3d!) are amazing, you made a good use of 3d there. But as cyborg said too-linear levels you can beat easily with air boost (which I think it's too strong). However, the gimmicks are pretty nifty, specially the elevator and spikeballs.

  20. This game looks pretty awesome, I can't wait to play this (now that I have a geforce 9800 GT card). I hope I can run this decently. Hmm... I don't know if you responded this question before, but which language do you use to program your project?
  21. I don't care so much about the size, even GBA roms use to be over 7MB. The engine is really perfect, that blue enemy is creepy and my suggestion is to set the Tails jump sound volume according the distance between him and Sonic, because, I listen tails jump sound outside of the view. This is just a suggestion .

First of all, thanks a lot to Ironrind, who have given me some advices to improve the running performance from Game Maker Games (like disabling the "synchronizing to avoid tearing", and setting the priority to high or highest). So, I uploaded a new demo exe, which you simply can put and also replace in the same current folder from the downloaded DEMO, and run. http://www.bcsilva.com/download/bs2demo2009_EXE.zip I hope resolving this lag with this.

  24. Yeah, I'll do that. I intend to keep this demo intact (unless I correct minor flaws). Hmmm also I experienced a problem only now on special stage. I don't know if that only happens to me but if you re-enter (after restarting) to the special stage, the background and the d-pad keys became glitchy. I don't know exactly what is happening but I'm working to fix that.
