  2. It's my birthday too, what a coincidence, but enough talk, release this immidiately! In other words, this looks very promising. I've always like the Retro Sonic feel. <Edit>It's not really my birthday, but thanks anyway Damizean</Edit>
  3. The Sonic sprite needs some more shading in my opinion.
  4. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy SFA. But, since this is another game, I'd like to see some differences regarding the basic engine. I think the deacceleration is slower, which is good. More gravity to the loops would do the trick imo.

  6. It does sound quite cocky. If you need to make long and elaborate explanations about your, what you call it, promotional pitch you might want to reconsider it. The first impression I got wasn't positive.
  7. In my opinion, this game feels too much like SFA. Though I can't really point out what makes it that way.. Another thing, I think you should add some more gravity to the loops. It's ugly when you accelerate during one, doesn't look natural and feels a bit fake.
  8. The left and right shooting is a bit unorthodox. You could perhaps try putting them on different keys, like 'A' and 'D'. Might make it less confusing. While you're at it, you could add up and down shooting on keys 'W' and 'S'. Nice though, good work.
  9. I thought the first boss was rather easy =P. Nice demo.
  10. It captures the loneliness of space, yet gives you some tiny bit of hope that you might not be alone - some sort of melancholic feeling. Will technology put us further and further away from one another? Very nice, I like it.
  11. Apart from you others, I'm not going to say anything about it, even if you already know what I'm going to say, or rather, did not say or not going to say, well, I think I've made my point. I'm still not going to say it though...

  13. Good to know this game is still alive =]. Love the variation you did to my original HUD idea. I'm definately putting that image in my sig. (EDIT: There we go =])
  14. It's a nice game, I really like the style and feel of it. Kind of reminds me of a game I saw somewhere, think it was called Konoa... something. More or less the same type of gameplay. Keep up the good work lad.
  15. Nice game. Though it bugs me that I can't seem to be able to finish the level under 40 seconds. Argh.
  16. Right, I'll try using different grass. Aye Slinger, but I'll try to change that. The rock texture repeats itself too much; needs more variation.
  17. I've been told that. I started making this background before playing Chaomega, so it's nothing I made on purpose. Any suggestions as to what I could change or add in order to make it look less like that other forest level? It's still a work in progress, so everything is welcome.
