  6. I usually create a template that enables me to easily add new frames to the animation that are positioned the way I like. The hotspot is always centered in the middle relative to the template

  11. I have two things to say. This demo, wasn't good mate... If you post something this buggy, you will not get good response. I suggest you look at some Game Maker tutorials; there are a couple that teach you how to make platformer games. Just search the Game Maker forums. Frankly, that pisses me off. How do you know it took him five minutes to make? I remember when I first tried making a platformer game; it was hard work, and the end result was not much better than this. Ease up on the comments lad.

  15. Lets not be that hostile. x_ossx_x's username is irrelevant in this topic. If you want to make a role playing game I suggest you use Game Maker. There are loads of tutorials for you to look at. Go to the forums at www.gamemaker.nl and suck in all the knowledge. Happy learning.
  16. To be honest, I don't think it fits. It would go well in an old Quake type of game, not a Sonic one.
  17. A glitch like that does not have anything to do with MMF/MMF2, it's in the coding.
  18. No performance problems here. The engine is nice. Nice is also my overall impression. The level was boring. It felt too static, too dull. I do not get enough feedback. Feedback could be doors opening/closing as you run past them or lights dimming depending on how close you are to them. Right now it just feels like a nice engine with some slopes, loops and a couple of badniks. Make it more dynamic.
