Ila, sorry, but get a grip. It annoys me to see how some people deviate the thread into trivial matters, and I am equally amazed to see that some of these people are forum operators. For your first game Syonic, it looks promising. The levels in the screenshots are a bit dull though, and you could greatly improve the colour palette. Once you release a alpha/beta demo of your game, we will be able to judge your work better.

If you talk about acceleration, the correct unit for it would be what I said; pixels/frame² implies that the speed increases by a certain amount every frame.

Actually, the acceleration would be defined as 0.04768 pixels/frame² =p.

As much as I agree with you Slingerland, that might've been slightly exaggerated. Reread your post mate; Russian leaders, come on =p. Even though I lol'd and rofl'd and lmao'd, I have to say that was crossing the line. Played the game, it's cool, but would be much better with another ground texture.

Just keep trying to improve Metalsluguk. I know it hurts to receive criticism about something you're proud of. Keep in mind though, that you can only get better at this. Keep up the good work mate.

Is the laser shooting sound effect from the Star Wars Episode 1 game =P? Bad FPS for me aswell, even though I have a decent computer.

Venom is the monster formed by the fusion of Brock and the symbiote, if my memory serves me well. I'd be greatly dissapointed if the real Venom doesn't make an appearance in the movie... We all have needs, mine is saliva and sharp teeth =p.

Is it worth trying? The idea of a Mario Kart type of game with Sonic characters just doesn't appeal to me.
