  1. Sure thing, I'll host ya! but something needs to be made first, XD. Super Ball Ultima is an online game that also may be helpful for understanding MOO Click, But that project is in a suspended state right now, because Inferno_l_Flames is busy with other things. I don't think the source file is available to anyone but those who worked on the game, witch includes me. I'll see what I can do to make this work.
  2. Like HyperSonic had in Sonic 3 & Knuckles? sounds good to me.
  3. I will download and play the demo when its on live, if it ever gets there. From that I'll decide if I like it enough to buy it, With that, the case is closed, for me anyways. One thing I have to say though, because I like full 3D platforming freedom of movement, no matter how buggy as long as it is playable enough to get by. Even if the level designs are linear, I'll take that over being confined to a *Beep* rail! Whats the point of being 3D only to use 2D gameplay, besides looking way better than sprites ever could and having 3D FX and gimmicks. Don't get me wrong the video looks like fun and all. But I just don't feel like sonic should be confined to 2D gameplay styles, just because 3D hasn't been working too good lately. Sonic Rush was alright but I still wish Sega would make another re-make of Sonic Adventure for the DS. I believe that if they tried hard enough they could find a way even if it means reducing the detail level and the number of playable characters. As I said before, I'll decide on it when I get my hands on a demo. Wow, I can really type a lot when I get my mind on something I really want to say. XD
  4. If there is anything els you'd like help with, just let me know.
  5. Thanks, Glad to help. Edit: Tutorial submitted, and links updated with rar'ed .mfa file.
  6. Check above download links, I've fixed the animation problem! YAY! I'm so happy! It is now commented too. Maybe this tut should now go on the main site's tutorial section. @Azu you mite want to, "Yoink!" it again, LOL.
  7. Thanks. The problem with animations like sonic's shoes is that you'll have to track the pixel color you want to change for every frame of the animation, it may be tricky but it can be done. That is untill I find a way to just get the color data you need with out having to find it via X Y. edit: SOLVED!! use above download link or this one here to redownload it.
  8. Maybe you should take a look at the example program I made. It seems that I can change the pallet at any time I want, the only problem is fully animated sprites that have no one pixel the same color on any frame of animation. Just take a look, while I find a way to fix that problem. Custom Pallet Engine Here This pallet system if free for anyone to use, just make sure you credit me.
  9. I made a mini game several months ago called Sonic Blaze, I'll have to post that later. what I did was make a pallet control (active) object, the pallet shades on the X axis witch used a loop of sorts to get the color data and apply it to the target sprite, the different pallet color schemes on the y axis so I could control what pallet was applied by setting a counter. basically you just make an object to what ever number of colors you need in its width and the number to total pallet schemes in hight. I can make an example if you like.
  10. I'm getting this game later today, I hope, I have the money and an Xbox 360, I just hope its not out of stock when I get there. also, my gamer tag is in my sig.
  11. I wish I could lend a hand but I don't have any experience modeling whole levels, just basic models of characters and objects and such. But I'd be willing to try. I'll see if I can come up with anything.
  12. I've made some changes to my ustream and updated the 1st post. EDIT: It has now become the rebirth of SFGHQ Radio! Now with IRC Conrols via the WinampBot that is in my ustream IRC channel.
  13. With Software like Webcammax, you wouldn't have to point the camera at the screen, you would be able to capture the desktop in realtime and send it out as a webcam display. Also, Ustream features a built in recording feature, so you could record the tutorials as you do them. It also has a built in IRC chat that gos with the show. Theres many possibilities here!
  14. I like the vista background, thats all... Nothing wrong with youtube, I just wanted to show this to you guys.
  15. I found out about this site through the Chris Pirillo Show, and now I'm try it out for myself. Check it out at Here I'v also start my own ustream show, check it out Here I sure this can be put to use for some really interesting fan game shows, eh? anyway, just wanted to let you guys here know about it if you didn't know already. EDIT: Heres an Idea, Live Sonic Fangaming, MMF2, and GM tutorial shows.
  16. *wacks with a sledge hammer!* "That a good enough topic bump for yah!" yeah, those of you who have V3 may need to download V4 manualy. anyways, have a nice day! *switches on the Xbox 360 to go play some Halo 3* "Chow!"
  17. On the subject of sonic's model and animations, I just what to ask if anyone found a way to import the sonic classic biped rig that I made? also, maybe I could help with animations at some point down the road? I still have some of the animations I used to render the model to show the rigging I did when I first rigged it. I made these when I first rigged the model. Back on topic (if that was considered off topic, I don't really know...), The engine looks great to me! I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it'll be fun.
  18. Awsome work smidge! I made this tutorial a long time ago here, back when I used CNC/MMF Express. I got into the forums since 2004, I originally found the main site back in 1997-98 somewhere back when it had CNC up for download. all I ask is when someone gets the chance to change the author name from "Sonic Tec" to "Jsonic" which is my current name. Doesn't that also mean I should be on the contributers list or do I need to have more than one contribution? Edit: I found it, I'm listed as Sonic Tec instead of Jsonic. My bad! Still both need to be updated. SmidgeEdit: Fixed.
  19. The first post has been updated with the first release of the latest version! also here too Here Mirror on Jsonic Server Here
  20. Welcome to the forums Rika. Thats some nice sprite work. I just want to let everyone know that the updater is done and working beautifully and the admin FTP uploader is done now, so uploading updates a snap.
  21. Now that Inferno L Flames has MMF2Dev we can start to see some fast progress and he dosn't have to wait on me anymore. sorry about all that everyone. GO Inferno!
  22. I created the windower system that made that possible BTW and I custom made the theme for it. I think it turned out grate! also, Awsome stuff TRD!
  23. I know this object has a somewhat large learning curve (I still haven't got anything to work myself) but it could do a number of grate things for sonic fan games, think we could build some howtos and put them up to get things going? I wonder if a sonic platform engine built with this could do more or do better than the 360 engine.
  24. look here http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=64272&Main=9269#Post64272 I'm downloading it right now as I post this.
