So I attained some extra money last week and had enough to import, which I finally did on Wednesday. Game arrived today. And last Saturday I acquired a HDTV (monitor actually) out of fucking nowhere. Perfect combo! Sweet Jesus on a pogo stick. This is absolutely fantastic and I'd be playing all day long if I hadn't got a course to assist. Soooo tempted to call in and say I'm indisposed

So apparently the last gen lower end versions are missing stages? If Namco was developing and it were the 360 version I'd say they intend to DLC rape for those later, but it isn't the case. Thus we'll go with the shitty port approach until proven otherwise.

Today I wanted to add money to my "internet purchases card" after seeing the doctor. They had me waiting FIVE HOURS at the hospital. Banks are closed now, will have to import tomorrow :< Although it's not like that'll save me from waiting a shitload of time for the game to arrive (buying from the UK). I still have to recieve Dead Space...

If those dungeons are dark caverns let's hope they include a decent source of light. Because god damn I couldn't navigate D. Sanctuary without looking at the (imprecise) Pipboy map every two steps. Shit, I am wearing Tesla Armor. I should be lighting that place up disco style.

What's wrong with the level cap? My character has hit 20 already but I got all the points I needed for my planned build and more. Won't mind that I can't level anymore since nothing can withstand my Plasma Rifle or the Vengeance. Companion NPCs barely get a chance to fire when I'm consistently oneshotting heads, and that Grim Reaper Sprint perk makes things even easier. If you want a ridiculously overpowered character you could just use the console commands, no? Oblivion bores me to death, but Fallout 3 is indeed fun. There's atmosphere, there's an interesting setting, there's good art and most importantly there's a proper combat system in place (VATS). And gibs. Gibs everywhere.

Finished the main quest a few hours ago. Quick notes on various subjects spoilered for convenience: The experience was good thus far, I'll reload a savegame and see if I can find any remaining interesting quests to do. Then I'll wait for the modders to pull out all sorts of crazy shit.

After one hour trying to make it not crash everytime I clicked the new game button, I got it to work. Had quite an entertaining sucession of tutorials in the vault, loved the VATS and got scared a couple times because of roaches D: Now I go outside and it's crashing again every 10 seconds and restarting my graphics driver ;_;

I should be entitled to torrent the eventual PC version of Fable 2, since I bought B&W1 and 2. Molyneux still owes me two fully featured functional games. Waiting for my Dead Space import to arrive, should be any day now.

I'll wait and see if I can get a friend to lend me his PSP then. GBA resolution on the PC is sort of annoying to me.

Any way I can get this up and running nicely on the DS with my R4? I'd rather be playing GBA games in bed. <3 Mother. Also fuck Nintendo.

I saw a video where they added all the clothing piece by piece and there was a shitload of items, so it's possible the character "pack" includes a bunch of other related accessories like alt costumes. What would be really cool is if they made the Octocamo work with the surrounding textures.

It's just... somehow I feel Heroes on the GC looked more vibrant. And the fact I've been fucking spoiled by PS360 graphics. Nobody expects Sonic Team to reach Mario Galaxy proficiency, but that doesn't make 5 year old visuals acceptable. Hiding behind the "looks good for Wii" argument doesn't work for me. Downgrading the next gen SKU was a mistake, should've instead changed the artstyle to hide the hardware limitations IMO. But we'll see how the final game looks on a direct feed video.

I can't be the only one that thinks the Wii version looks like shit, right? Fucked textures, boxy environments, almost total lack of shaders and a dull look (that could be a result of the camera recording). Graphically it reminds me of the usual average PS2 game. And something else I can't pinpoint at the moment. EDIT: Altered Beast PS2. for some reason I'm getting the same vibe (visually speaking) as that.

Remove the moustache and eyepatch and you get young Snake. EDIT: Valkyria Chronicles demo is up on the UK store as expected. For free, obviously.

Yeah, Stephen Fry is pretty damn awesome narrating. I think I'll be keeping the english localization unless we get a really, really good one. Also if SG still doesn't have access I have moar codes here. The Beta ends this week iirc so try to get the most out of it. And make sure to play that God of War themed level, it's fucking amazing.

Parasite Eve is one of the few franchises that could alone sell a system to me. PSP got PE3 = Seffy gets PSP.

Once again Nintendo manages to triumph again. Not only have they screwed over the early DS adopters (twice), but over the people who waited for the inevitable DSLite to not get buttraped too! But I'm sure the Nintendo audience will bend over and take in N's tiny penis with joy, like they've always done. And they're killing the BC? That's what everyone seems to do this generation so it *has* to be cool amirite? Maybe they'll offer a GBA download service to make you buy again the titles you already have in order to play them. Sigh. I'll stick to my original DS, fatties need love too. Silly Nintendo, if you wanted me to rebuy my existing portable you should've gotten Parasite Eve 3 on it. As things are, I'll be spending my hardware moneys on a Weighed Companion PSP. Besides, I bet they block R4s on that.
