This pretty much brought the super cheese and I think Jaleel sounded awful as sonic, I think we're all pretty much past that voice at this point, even if it didn't even sound remotely like his old school voice. It was a decent experiment, I wouldn't back such a movie though, I enjoyed their megaman one, and I'm still waiting for a real dragonball z movie to happen, even if it's fan made, someone has to have the brains to create such a movie.

This has been what people have wanted since pokemon stadium, they want to see their fucking monsters duke it out in 3d in a full fledged rpg. I admit every game I've played as of late in teh series I put down like halfway through out of sheer boredom, but I have a good feeling about this one being a good starting point to get back in.

Just an FYI sereph, all square project have pretty much been put on the back burner, they did an all hands on deck call to get just about the entire company working on FFXIV's remake (which is actually looking really damn awesome) and they're also working on the new FFXIII lightning game (boooo). Aside from that all the other projects are on hold, this kind of pisses me off as now I have a vita and I'd LOVE to have FFX to play in HD, gotta wait now..

I'm going to echo this sentiment, persona 4 is an excellent jumping in point, and P4G is pretty much the definitive version of the game, tons of added content, excellent new features, and it's all portable! I'll write up a more detailed review of my 2012 tomorrow, I just wanted to throw out the fact that the PS vita has definitely picked up traction and I freakin love my Vita, I can't wait to see what's in store for 2013 Vita-wise.

I just got a vita in the midst of all this price droppage and actual game boom and have been enjoying hte hell out of it. I think I'm going to wait on the wii U until they've got their game boom. Which I'm guessing will be like...mid to late next year? Great write up though DW, I have a feeling I would love the tech once I have it in my hands, I just can't justify the purchase at this juncture, especially since I really don't like the NSMB series at all compared to the older mario games.

I'm sorry but what substance does this game have besides screenshots of a crappy menu and japanese text? Not to mention all the project hopping which pretty much guarantees this will be scrapped so quick once the next big idea hits your head. I guess the biggest question I have though why puyo puyo? there's plenty of puyo puyo games available, what makes you think a fan made version of it will be any better than the official games. Don't get me wrong, I fucking LOVE mean bean and puyo and all those knock offs, but I just don't see any reason to pump out an "HD" version of this franchise, especially a fan made one.

Started my paid internship at my county utilities doing IT work. First day of work was (for me) super exciting, and I look forward to working there more. Quitting my previous job for this felt liberating.

Strife I had a blast with the demo and I gotta say if you managed to remove all the sonic references and made this game into its own universe you could easily sell this game on steam and desura to all the 2d game fans and actually get some money for your hard earned work. It's just a thought, I'd be more than willing to shell out some cash for a game as beautiful and old school as this. It feels like an homage to all the classics on sega genesis!.

Sereph, I downloaded the international version of 12 with the special job license boards (I own the original version, I think I'm entitled to play this one), I'm going to give it another damn try, perhaps the job boards will make me happy. There's also a bunch of other excellent changes to the system, so we'll see.
