  1. Has anyone done a fangame starring Blaze? Has anyone done any good sprites of Blaze?
  2. Perhaps a playtester might help you with catching future errors?
  3. The violins on Crisis City... YES. YES. YEEEEESSSSSS
  4. What's stopped people before? I know someone had up Sonic: The Fated Hour, but what seems to be the deal breaker? Level design? What abilities? Plot?
  5. I want to create a Metroidvania Sonic. Sonic would only start with his Sonic 1 moveset, and would have to traverse Sonic CD esque levels in an open map (or an open level select akin to Castlevania Order of Ecclesia) to get more of his abilities. It being a Metroidvania, I'd go for more horror themed locations and foes (like those awesome bomb chucking ghosts from Rush Adventure in the Haunted Ship) I could also mod some abilities like giving him slight variations of his boosting ability--taking a note from Triple Trouble where his Super Peel Out was called Strike Dash and rendered him able to nuke enemies for the first 2 seconds he kept his speed up. I like my bosses challenging and dangerous, so they'd be based off of Castlevania and Metroid bosses, adjusted to give Sonic a hard time. And considering that his potential was wasted in 06, I'd use Mephiles as a villain (with Eggman still providing the robo horrors). I'm in the middle of some nasty times at the moment, so I don't want to promise I'd build it, but some points in the right direction would help, and I don't mind if a faster or more dedicated programmer takes the idea instead.
  6. I'd love to get some titles on those musics, though. As mentioned before, these guys have a ton of songs and I don't have the time to listen to all of them, good as they are. Perhaps the only issue I've got level design wise is that there isn't a lot of chance to barrel through anything, and that's if you don't care about Chaos Emeralds. I bet the same clowns who don't like Sonic CD cite this, though.
  7. Hey, hey! I joined up just to congratulate you on Sonic Axiom. It's great all around! I am truly in love with the level themes you used--they're the best I've seen for any Sonic game, let alone any fangame. The choice of music for most of the regular levels are well done. (Speaking of, though, I don't have a shot in hell in figuring out where the music is. Some of these artists have tons of music, how the hell am I going to sort through them? Do the songs have original titles? Following Axiom got me nothing.) One thing though: I think the bosses need polish. A lot of them feel clunky, either easily stuck in waiting game patterns or too easy period. And sorry, but the regular boss theme is horrible. There were a couple of glitches, such as wandering right into geometry, but they were few and far in between. Do I not have the latest version though? Some people talk of being able to partially charge the super peel out, but Sonic will stop unless he's in the max speed animation for more than a quarter second. Still, though, the level design is beautiful and HUGE. Some of those later stages took me upwards of 4-5 minutes, and I was rushing through them, too. I rather enjoyed the experience--and I need to go beat it as Knuckles.
