  1. Aha, I assumed it wasn't common knowledge. I figured they were original music composed for the trailers. How's this for discussion material; the Kele song "Tenderoni" title means to be attracted to a much younger person. So you could infer from it, that Modern Sonic is in love with Classic Sonic. Have fun sorting that out in your brain. XD

  3. I should clarify, right now Shadow is not hitting the nearest enemy. He goes flying towards it, but misses and carries on going. After missing this enemy, I lose control input. But! It's 3am and I'm done for the day.
  4. Haha, yeah, forgot to do that. XD OK, now that's done, here's the progress: double jumping and landing now works, I get control back when I'm on the ground. But the homing attack itself is borked. Something happens now; Shadow flies towards an enemy, but keeps going, flying to the right of the screen.
  5. Heh, that's where I started! I am new (bad) at this. I was trying to follow what you said there in that thread, writing that out as I went along. Obviously, that was bad. Hm. Even just copying what Superbliz ended up with doesn't work for me; This time, I even put the "if back on ground, allow input" thing right there in this script, but I still end up in a permanent roll after double jumping, and no homing attack. :/
  6. Gave up on making a Chaos Spear for the night, as that is too hard. Figured I could stick Homing Attack in without much trouble. NOPE! XD Here's what I did; went into the scrPlayerActionJumping, and added this: This is scrPlayerMotionHomingAttack: And here's what I got: no homing attack, but now if I double jump near an enemy, I get stuck in an infinite roll. I guess that's due to the homing attack script disabling common input, but - that should get turned off by the player action jumping scr, right!? Can I have a hand please? Cheers!

  10. Shitty MIDIs? They're the same MIDIs that were in vanilla SDASH. What's the problem with em? Could you be a bit more specific about what's broken or "wrong" with it? It's a WIP, so obviously stuff isn't 100% yet. And it won't get there if you're not a little more descriptive of what the problem is. Chronic! Just the Super Peel Out for Super Sonic is the 'big' thing I picked up on, and it's not that big I guess. Had a little graphical glitch in the chute (Sonic appeared to stand up at the curve), but functionally it's great. And this may be more of a request than a problem: for the end of level signpost, how about having "Sonic got through" appear much sooner after touching it? Leave the countdown for a few seconds, but have the text appear right after hitting the post? Anyway, cheers for the hard work. It's shaping up nicely.
  11. They did! Lock On options are in Sonic & Knuckles bonus features section. You can lock on to Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 for sure, can't remember if Blue Sphere was there too...

  18. Wehehe It's so hard for even Sonic Team to get Shadow's voice right, I probably won't even try, make the narrator one of the supporting characters instead. :3
  19. Cool, good to know it's doable. Had a random impulse thought just now; cutscenes in Bastion style; just a scrolling piece of artwork with narration over it. Would anyone on here be up for Voice Acting? Cause I'm not. XD

  21. So, I'm pretty new here too, but, I think I can confidently say, you're being a silly goose. The whole point of this place, if I'm not mistaken, is to help people become better at making fangames. If you're not gonna listen to criticism and advice, then what's the point of you being here?

  23. Hahaha, don't worry Seraph, I was joking about that. I think it'd be a dick move to make people pay for Super Shadow on top of collecting the emeralds. Incidentally, I don't think I'll be including Special stages. I can't think of a special stage type that'd really fit with the style I'm going for - SO... I'll probably hide emeralds actually in the stages, like that old Game Gear Sonic.
  24. D'aww. <3 Think I'll spend tomorrow working on the Dusk Hill BGM properly. With drums, a square synth lead, maybe some piano arpeggios, it should sound pretty cool. Bonus points (and more WIP terribad recordings!) for anyone who can guess what my new character who's getting that acoustic guitar theme is!
