Oh, I see, thanks for tips. gonna keep that in mind for the sequel. the shields are invisible because it annoys me having to see them until the end of every stage for some reason. also the first boss is not that hard. there's always a pattern. to dodge the first move from the boss elther get the first strike by jumping over the ball or by ducking at the right spot. then when the time is right, Jump over the ball and Walljump into the boss. when the boss moves to another direction, try to Walljump near him for combos.
  2. I don't get what you mean by that, half of the original Sonic 1 levels are like that (especially Marble Zone and Labyrinth). I also consider the first stage one of my worst edits because it resembles much like GHZ and less walljumping. (but I can't add any more tiles because of the VRAM limit anyway).

  4. A Full hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, with tons of Features, Brand New Levels, Playable Characters, Sonic CD style gameplay (minus the Extended Camera), and more. I created this Sonic the hedgehog hack back in October 31th 2011 (Halloween) as V1.0 (still beta). everything has been changed along with massive amount of new content added, and feels like a completely new game. the very last update, a sequel is yet to be made, but i'm not sure if I'm willing to make one, due to life, lack of ideas (of levels), technical difficulties, and other projects. but Enjoy.   6. BUMP (if that counts). I needed it. They can be useful for making Genesis or NES Emulators playable Online without having to download them. but idk how they did it. saw it in some sites years ago.
  7. I don't even need it anyway, I have a Hex editor. and Sonic 3 uses 128x128, like Sonic 2.
  8. Chunks are 256x256 pixels or 128x128 pixels that are build from 16x16 blocks of tiles. Sonic 1 uses 256x256 pixels, and Sonic 2 uses 128x128 pixels.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles are almost impossible to hack, due to unreasonable corruptions, I've only manage to change 10% of the game. as for Sonic 2, it had better level layouts, collisions, and designs, but not my thing. and the max amount of Chunks is around #$51 I think, which is why few of the level layouts in Hyperdrive are kinda odd. and the tile limit of course for the PLC (Pattern Load Cues) but yeah, Sonic 2 had better level design for more Loops and Chunks.

I understand, thanks alot anyway. but I still got a long way to go due to something I wanted missing. like coding extra Zones and later get raped by so many codes needed to be add plus bugs. but i'ma keep trying.   15. D:< Sonic only plays exactly like the Original Sonic 1 so is a very bad choice. unless your crazy. EDIT: Unless is your Main, nevermind.
  16. Even Green Hill Zone? that can't be it. plus Techno Palace Zone haves alot of straight paths. so your kidding. there is a level select code incase you want to test them all. I need details.
