Don't get your hopes up for Sonic 4 its just going to be the same garbage as episode 1.
Eh, it wasn't really garbage.
I'm quite a fan of Episode 1 myself.
Although, I think they should've just left Sonic CD alone.
Time travel should be left out of Episode 2 if that's what they're thinking.
Time travel sucks.
(Don't worry, Overbound, I'm still looking forward to Time Twisted.)

Looks interesting.
Any ideas on what stage this will appear in?
-
It's a template he is working off of to place things how they are in the real level. *Just spit ballin' here.*
That makes sense.
I was hoping for such a stage to appear.
Another cool one to see would be the Mecha Green Hill from Sonic Chaos in the level collab.
-
Oh, Kessler, that Bridge Zone is excellent.
Question.
Is that Sonic 8-bit enemy in the background?
A bit confused by the 8-bit rings in the background too.
-
Also, if you're looking to get his arms back behind him while he walks/runs you should curve them a bit.
Sort of like the super peel out arms.
-
So it's only for Xbox?
Bummer.
If it came to Playstation I would instantly sell my Sega CD and Sonic CD just to make some space.
I thought this would be the opportunity but oh well.

Very nice, Lake.
I like this one.
Only, are you going to put a border around the letters "SONIC"?
I also like that you're not using the gold ring but rather a different color and that you can see behind Sonic and Tails.
-
This is really neat.
I really like the backgrounds too.
Especially Diamond Hill's.
-
Arcane Altitude does fit well for the Death Egg.
By the way, Lake, I like those shots of the Death Egg/Arcane Altitude.
Especially the Sonic 3 one with the background looking so cool.
Excellent.
-
Looks a tad on the blurry side there.
Might be just my eyes.
-
Dynamic Destination is a good one too.
Actually fits the Death Egg nicely.
-
@LH: Excellent!
The changes are amazing.
I do think the Oil Ocean "oil" made a good touch on Cheese Hill.
And as always, Starlight Carnival shots look great.
EDIT: I'm not sure if I like Emerald Hill or Mushroom Hill in the logos.
I think Green Hill's background was a perfect fit for it.

I work up at a local radio station, WCSB.
I do a classical hip hop show (which is pretty much stuff like Ice-T and Dhar Braxton) and also a talk show.
-
Thanks
No, I'm just making some bonus arenas for the Sonic Fusion's multiplayer mode.
Ah, gotcha.
I'm looking forward to more screens like this.
Very nice.
-
I will be one to say I have been waiting for something like this for a while.
A long while.
I like your HUD.
Very original.
When you get around to it, let's see some video footage.
I'm very interested in this and am going to keep my eyes on this topic.
-
@LH: I like the GHZ background in the logo.
@Cstyler: That looks very interesting.
Quick question is if you're making some kind of sequel to Sonic Heroes?
That background is really neat.
-
@Strife: Haha, that picture with the little gun is a similar design to what I have in mind for Dr. Cool.
Great minds must think alike, lol.
-
Unlockable content does sound interesting.
Also, I never got the chance to say but that art at the first post is excellent.
-
Hey, Overbound.
Let me throw a thought about those extra tiles at you guys right quick.
If you guys decide to throw them into Time Twisted instead of making a whole separate game then make them into bonus stages.
If that's not feasible then maybe get inspiration from each one to make special stages.
Sort of like giving each special stage a theme like what Sonic CD did.
That is of course you guys already have plans for special stages.
But hey, whatever you guys decide is all good with me.
Like I said, just a quick thought.
I can't wait to see more in game and/or mock shots of Time Twisted.
I'm very inspired by your level designs, bro.
OK, I'm done.

Dammit Blaze! Always one step ahead of me!
Anyway, ignore the fact that there is no transparency.

I don't know, Blazefire, I like this one the most.
I'm not sure why I like it so much but all three of yours look pretty nifty in my opinion.

Bri, Dark Raven X, You really got me excited for your projects now. I like the contrast and vibe it has from DarkRavens. Bri, I like the Cleaness and HUD. It all seems to match well. Keeping my eyes close to these ones.
As am I.
I can't stop looking at the Dusk Hill one.
Although, I'd change the name to something like "Wild Woods" or "Midnight Madness".
Don't ask why but before I saw the name Dusk Hill those were the first names I thought while looking at the shot.
Also, you should put a shadow at the bottom of that tree where it meets those bush things to show that it's coming out from them.
I don't know, it sounds cool to me if you did that but hey if it's good to you that that's just dandy.
-
I really never would've figured the ground to Mushroom Hill could've been made into rocks.
Looks incredible except for the leaves in the background.
They look like paper.
But beggars can't be choosers.
Also, the Seaside Hill/Ocean Palace and Rooftop Run footage in that trailer looks excellent.

Speaking of Shadow...
[qimg]http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Briraka/Ressurection/shadres.bmp[/qimg]
I'm also making a Shadow fan game. This is the test zone, but it has the background of the first zone, Crimson City.
My first thought was Radical Highway.
By the way, both Shadow shots look excellent.
It's about time we see more games featuring Shadow.
Nice to both of you.
(Just make sure we're not seeing Shadows SA2 levels remade as well as a SHtH one.)
-
This is really cool.
I just played the demo and thought how interesting and inspiring it is.
Why didn't this ever get finished?
(That is if you don't mind my asking.)
Sonic CD Remake Thread
in Sonic & SEGA Discussion

Yeah, like every time I play Sonic CD I feel like I'm forced to obtain a perfect game.
Sometimes Wacky Workbench can be a pain if you don't know the right paths to take for, you know, going 88 miles per hour.
Metallic Madness is the worst.
My dad actually put where to find the good paths for time travel in the instruction booklet back in the day.
Sometimes, I break it out.
The worst is playing Sonic CD on a Sega CD where the audio is kind of weird.
Like the stage music is kind of low, the jumping is OK but the main thing is the time travel spiel where it blows your god damn ear drums out.
All in all, it's great to see I can finally make some space and sell my Sega CD.
Sonic CD was the only thing that was making me keep it.
I know Gems Collection had it but I live by this philosophy that if I already own the game/product it would be pointless to buy another version.
Especially knowing that I also own Sonic R and have a Game Gear emulator for Triple Trouble.
The best is that the emulator is on a Gamecast.
