  1. No need to bump an old thread. I really doubt in anyway that Sega found out my games storyline which I've told like 3 people in PM's then "stole" my idea. While yes it's storyline is similar I really don't care and I doubt Sega for one minute would bother to go through fangames to find ideas. Just a conincidence.

  3. Battle Kid isn't really difficult imo but some parts are aggrivating. It's a lot better than IWBTG which it was based off of. Sivak said something about the second one being complete a month or so back, it might even be out idk. You can find a ROM of the first one on the intranets somewhere though.
  4. I really don't see why it being simple is a problem. Sure that's an advantage? If SuperBliz doesn't like Sonic Worlds or can't understand how it works I suggest he tries getting a 360 base and adding all the features himself on top of that.

  6. *Aesthete , it's an actual word meaning a particular type of person who has a high appreciation of beauty such as for art or nature. You aren't limited to GM you know. MMF2 provides many good examples and with coding knowledge from GM, learning MMF2 is quick. No really ask BlazeFire, first time I'd ever seen MMF2 and I started working on the engine with him albeit not on as adventurous things as him but still.
  7. You can't use animated tiles in MMF2, you'd have to draw them.
  8. Dat end sign *orgasm* I like the tile a lot actually the lights and darks don't contrast enough so it's hard to make out the patterns imo. Other than that I think it looks great.

  12. @Falk, totally agree and that was an interesting + informative read <3 @Gungriffon, the base is fine but I think the leaves and foliage have way too many colours for a genesis sorta styled thing. I doubt my 2 min edit really helped but meh xD @Delta, I can't really program/remember how to use the dash engine so I'm afraid I can't really help. Sad to hear it bro. D;
  13. So Ristar skillfully made two tracks for my game. I must say I'm really impressed with the quality and they fit the tone of the level incredibly well. It's nice to get such an almost professional sounding quality of custom song for free. I'd thoroughly recommend anyone who wants some original music for a game to ask Ristar. Thanks a bundle

  16. Our act card is akin to Sonic CD and we've ocnsidered work around but for peace of mind and to make sure it doesn't come up again we'd like it sorted.

  18. For a while now me and BlazefireLP have been working on an engine for our Sonic games. We made considerable progress using an old Base we found with Blazefire building a large amount of features on top however towards the planned demo of our engines a lot of glitches and bugs arrived which stemmed directly form the base we were using and we have decide to start fresh using a different base. We're using one of Dami's old bases as it has everything we need and has fixed a lot of the problems our other base had. However there is one strange glitch in it which we cannot for the life of us fix or work out. If the player starts in the air the engine works fine but if the players start position is on the ground then the game locks up and crashes. We were wondering if any of you lovely gentlemen could lend a helping hand as to work out why this is happening. I don't really want to reveal much of the story D; Nack is prodominantly the main antagonist of Knuckles story until around zone 7, Robotnik, it doesn't make much sense to have him as the bad guy of Knuckles story line because he's absent throughout most of the storyline. Yeah the fights were planned ot be different and some have to be completely different due to how Knuckles' stages work.
  20. Would having Nack in Robotniks seat for all of Knuckles bosses akin to the Egg-robo in Sonic 3 be too similar to Sonic XG? I know in XG Knuckle sonly appeared as one boss but I want Nack for most of them.

I'm not using the Sonic Dash + engine anymore, I'm working with Blaze on our own MMF2 engine. Commented on your piece btw, good job ^^ @DerZocker Loving them even if they are traces, sonics skin seems a tad dark though?

  23. Not exactly the biggest update ever but I can assure you my game's making considerable progress I just can't really show much right now. I have the "nack" for being a tease when it comes to sprite spoilers...
