  1. Also i readed that some of the devs were mmf2 users that abandon it for the lack of updates... Anyway i'm not an expert on mmf2 or construct, i've tested both mmf2 is easy to handle for its event system without codes and construct is an "improved" version of mmf2. But the great point of construct is its price, that is free for the classic version, 65 usd for the standard version and 255 usd the bussiness version, mmf2 is 150 usd the standard version and the developer like 300 usd, programs with this price are most intented for commercial propposes... Also i don't remembered the last time that mmf2 was updated... i think this program is most reliable althernative for those new creators that don't want spent some much money for create a free game or an non serious project...
  2. well i think i expected that you already know about it, besides i've out of the forum so i don't pretty informed... but the program get updated to ver. 2 this year and maybe some you can check it out. it gets updated very often as i remember. just saying it as a althernative now its updated, but its up to you... i'm just imforming
  3. I put this here cause the fangame general topic doesn't look propely for this... i don't know if you guys know this program, is some kind of inspired on mmf2, its called Contruct. http://www.scirra.com/ Its developed in html5 and ist designed for make 2d games. The first version "Construct Classic" is open source, now relased for "Construct 2" some time ago, but you have to pay for it, but also it has a free edition. I think is a good althernative to mmf2, it uses a event system like mmf2, and is currently under updates, unlike mmf2 doesn't much updates. i don't much familiarised with construct or mmf2, but i checked it and has a lot of similar features to mmf2 well thats it, i hope you find some use for this as an althernative... you gan give a try...
  4. well i've read my post again i think that i messed up the writing...sorry, what i meant to say was i just remebered that the sonic worlds engine dust effect is almost same, and some other things that are from fans, so i thinked for a second what this is probably part of fan ideas, but mainly just a coincidences with fan things what i want to talk about... i will edit the first post for explain me better... PD: if this topic is some way useless the administrators or moderators can erase it if is possible, i will not get angry... sorry for the trouble...
  5. yeah, i remember that team want to make sonic back to its roots, but mainly i post this cause was funny, seing that very simmilar... just saying... anyway i been i little streesed these days so i'm thinking too much i know..., but i want to say what im thinking thats all...
  6. Well i was a new member for some time ago i haven't used the account cause i don't have the mood, but i dont going to trash the account... I want to talk something that i found really make me curious, about sonic generations and classic sonic return in the gameplay... i want to compare sonic generations and some fan things: like this video: in 0:55 the uses the spincharge with a dust effect... when i see it i remembered the spindash from the Sonic Worlds engine... just a coincidence... and the spinjump fx is the same as Sonic CD, even the normal sound from sonic 1,2 and 3 was not used, also i've read that Sonic CD is the best sonic game (especially in USA)... and i read that are planning to make classic sonic can use homming attack in the 3ds verison that also was made in sonic 4, but was made way before in fangames or hacks... and besides the makers of the fangames are often part of the fans that like 2d style more, and fangames and engines like Sonic Worlds, sonic XG, sonic fan remix I just say that sega maybe get some fan ideas from the fan games, hacks, or even communities like SFGHQ, maybe they are listening fans what they wants... ...or can just be my imagination, but is a funny coincidence tough, and makes me think that they care the fans... i hope not have error cause i don't speak english... well leave me know what you think
