  1. When I said new logo, but I mean the "Sonic Edge Of Darkness" logo itself, not the character sprites. I'm still using the SCD ring and having S,T, & K in the ring, but I used the 32x Sonic as a placeholder until then. And thanks, looks good. @ Pedro, it's that for Game Maker or MMF2?
  2. A LOT better! Great improvements! Here's a quick title screen concept I've got. Credit to Dr. Mecha for the 32x Sonic. I really wish that I could have Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in the ring, but I'm no good with pixel art like that. I'm also changing the logo because frankly... it's boring. BTW, StealthyMC is SuperBliz's other name.
  3. It look a lot better, but I don't like the green/orange combination. As for me, I made a title screen background. Going for that classic feel, while capturing the feel of the game.

  5. Actually, I really like the concept of your monitor, the old TV sort of thing, but the sprite itself needs work.
  6. You with your new computer and the engine, and me with most of the level graphics done, and the soundtrack being almost finished, it's like the progress fairy sprinkled us with dust. I'm loving it! The only problem I see with the parallax is that there is supposed to be a white line below the sand to show the edge of the ocean on the shore.
  7. Slight fix to the tiles. Since I'm away from my computer, and my email has supposedly been hacked, then I'm uploading them for me to use later. They don't tile 100% correctly, but real igneous rock doesn't correlate either. Plus I still need to edit them and make them lighter.
  8. Shading when it comes to pixel art is NOT my forte. At all. I need some help with correcting errors with the character's bodies themselves.
  9. I think he's talking about Hyper's screen. Plus the closest mountains are too blurry in your screen. BTW, DEAR GOD HELP ME!

  11. There's a facebook page? O.o Anyway, I'd be more than happy to give it a like and spread it around. Plus I like the graphics, the screen reminds me of Coral Cave from SRA.
  12. The tiles are supposed to represent rock formed by volcanic eruptions, so I'm not sure if making them shine would fit the feel, but I do agree on the orchestral music thing. In fact, if we didn't have StereoPixel as our compositionist, these are the themes I would use for the levels: Shimmering Shores: Green Grove (Saturn Version) Chemical Canyon: Sandopolis (I'd probably find a remix of it or something) Antarctic Amethyst: Diamond Dust (Saturn) Towering Treetops: Rusty Ruins (Again saturn) Midnight Metropolis: Casino Park or Bingo Highway Flooded Foundation: Aquatic Base Vehement Volcano: Volcano Valley (Saturn) Atmospheric Attack: Not Sure Wayward Warships: Not Sure Shadowed Satellite: Cosmic Fall Here are the tiles themselves. Can someone help me make them..... "tile" better I guess?
  13. @Shadow_Striker, That cupcake gimmick is awesome, and I agree with Betaman, lower it's height. @Sparks, looking great as always! Keep it up. And as for me, here is a quick mockup of Vehement Volcano Zone. The tiles themselves were thrown together pretty sloppily, but it's just a general idea of what I'm going for, and I do plan on using the Hidden Palace floor with the Death Egg/ Doomsday rocks for the real tiles themselves.. It's basically Flame Core with the pink luminous crystals in the ground, fire-geysers, and the blackened rock landscape, except without the shitty gameplay, random raining fireballs of cheap death, and numerous speed boosters.

  15. The current background for Vehement Volcano Zone. I'm having trouble coming up with some ground tiles, but it's sort of a Flame Core type deal. The mountains need some adjustments, but I like the way it turned out. BTW, In terms of zone names, I may or may not ditch the whole CD thing in exchange for: Shimmering Coast Noxious Wasteland Snowfall Monoliths Roulette Highway Drowned Structure Vehement Obsidian Atmospheric Chase Skyward Fortress Darkness Satellite Apocalypse Gadget B.L.A.C.K.
  16. I'm guessing that "interesting" means colorful, full of life, and amazing, so I'm going with that!!! Btw, Why did Slingerland have to come up with the Community Neon Sign idea 4 years before I joined here?!?!

  18. Thanks Sena. I decided to only animate the one with my name. I might do the rest. But anyway, this is how it would look animated. Based off of the Sonic and Miles signs from CNZ.
  19. They look A LOT better when animated,.but I don't know how to make GIFs though.
  20. I am making teh neon signs for MMZ. Is there anything that can improve them, or are they fine? I do plan on making signs for SuperBliz and StereoPixel when they get back to me.
