Sorry about being inactive for a long ass time. Usually progress on the game flourishes during the summer months, plus I've been sidetracked with something else, something having to do with music. Building of the game will restart... once me and SuperBliz get out shit together in school. Anyway, I'm hoping this doesn't end up having the same fate as Sonic 2 HD. Good luck with your project. I ran the sand through the GIMP noise filter since Photoshop is refusing to open on my new computer. It's the best I could do to make it look realistic as possible.

The shading really isn't different from the original Sonic 2 sprite it's based off, but eh. Enemies are being worked on for Shimmering Shores. We'll be needed beta testers soon too. Not now, but soon.

Well, there isn't anything to fix. You can see that on the left side of his head, it goes from the normal blue to the light, then when it gets to the top, it's the same thing.

Don't worry, we're changing the ring sprite to the Chaotix One and there isn't an outline. What you're seeing is the shading going from the lightest, back down to the darkest. Almost every other sprite is like that

I have to agree with you on this point Falk. While the idea of localizing to other countries or just a couple sounds good on paper, the threat of people stealing your work and repacking it as something else is obviously apparent, knowing the technology and knowledge they have. The style of your game (characters, settings, themes, etc.) especially makes this point even worse since since it's borrowed from Asian culture.

Wow, that's actually really pretty. It reminds me of what Final Fall used to look like in 2005 back when Sonic XG was Sonic Forever, when it used Angel Island's tiles. Plus the colors contrast quite well.

Reminds me a great deal of Mystic Ruins from Sonic Adventure, especially the little section in the forest area where the entrance to Lost World is.

That actually looks great. I always liked the shoes and goggles Sonic had in Riders, looks good! BTW, remember how Sir Euan did those HUGE mockups for Sonic Forever/XG? Well, I thought it would be a cool idea to do that. I made these so you could see more of the tilesets. Will be making more soon. I did mockups of the tilesets with the most recent changes. DP, I may have just found a better use for the new grass. Plus I got rd of the leaves on the bark cause I realized that it would look boring and ood when tiled.
